Just rewatched the video, I think it is implied that Guile (The player) beat Nash, so Guile’s key is safe. For now.

I get that she was alreadyinjured when she lost to Rashid, but Chun better get some fucking huge redemption in later acts. The supposed main heroine shouldn’t be the Dan Hibiki of this game.
I’m sure she will. She is supposed to be the main heroin of the story mode (along with Ryu and Ken), so I am confident that she’ll have her moments to shine in future Acts. Maybe they just have her get beat up earlier in the story to build up the other characters (Shadaloo and Rashid).
Aw man! It’s nothing but spoiler tags!
Release it already!!
It would be nice to see Chun take Claw down this time around. Something akin to the movie would suffice. I’m tired of their battles always ending. This would be the perfect time for her to kick his pretty face in.
The tension between Vega and Chun is real, however…we all know they will eventually end up together.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The only plot device in Street Fighter is the Satsui no Hadou. Juri’s eye isn’t some 11th hour superpower.
You are the one that needs to face it. You getting mad at the oldest troupe in the book when it comes to action. Capcom needs to be able to establish these new characters as threats. Easiest way for that to happen is to have established characters job to the new guys to put them over. This is action 101. There would be no reason to give a shit about Viper and Juri if you see them stomp Dan, Balrog or any of the series designated jobbers. Sounds like you mad that your faves were the ones to be stomped.
This makes me want to see Dan fight a one eye Juri or a tech-less Viper. Better yet…
Dan with Viper’s gear after taking it off a nameless CIA operative.
Sagat with FSE plug and play eye.
…just not in a Street Fighter game.
In a spin off series a lot of things could work.
It’s honestly lazy writing to try and introduce new characters well by letting them shit over the originals though.

To me Juri’s scrub level till she gets that marble out of her eye and actually fights with her own abilities. Hyping her up is dumb when she’s got an overpowered plot device in her eye socket.

Face it Juri fans, she was portrayed as a psychopath who can handle the likes of Guile, Cammy and Chun-Li simply because Capcom was trying to promote their new *evil, female *character and hype her existence to milk their fans. They tried to do the exact same thing with Viper when SFIV was first released (her wrecking Cammy, being a top level agent that can mess with one of the richest organizations around and kidnap the wife of their boss with ease etc.) and ditched the idea later on when they didn’t find what they were looking for. I clearly remember the officials said they expected Viper to be the most popular/played new character in SFIV and was surprised when Abel took that position instead (although that may have changed post Vanilla).
Juri is the same. She’s enjoying immense popularity and this in turn is making her strong in the lore. If she didn’t enjoy the popularity she does now, she would be Makoto-tier at best, IMO.

No it’s not. That kind of thinking is what got WCW killed.
Fact is if you want the audience to give a shit about a new character hero or villain they’ll have to go over an established character to do it. I’m not gonna give a shit about them if they beat nobodies, beat people who are canonically weak or the story playing up their greatness without showing it. It’s not like Juri and Viper got wins over the heavy hitters. Cammy and Guile are mid tier at best in terms of skill and power. Chun was given an “out” for her loss.
I hope you not a fan of shonen anime and manga.

Ingrid isn’t canon though
She was included in the official Capcom worldwide SF character poll, and the SF:WW Encyclopedia that is based on canonical sources. Her Alpha 3 interactions and story are most likely not canon (so is much of that game for that matter), but she is a Street Fighter character (sadly) according to Capcom.
I don’t understand why people hate Ingrid so much. She is canonical. So yes, the strongest SF character is female. She’s a goddess. Hardly anyone can beat her. Well, Necalli is a god too. So maybe, he can. I would say Ingrid would take out Necalli though. So I’m putting Necalli as 2nd strongest character next to only Ingrid. I’m interested in hearing what anyone else has to say about Ingrid vs. Necalli.

Not sure if serious, but I’ll take a shot.
People don’t like Ingrid BECAUSE she is a goddess. This is STREET FIGHTER. Evil Dictators and forbidden killing arts aren’t unheard of for the martial arts genre, but Ingrid is practically a Mary Sue because she isn’t a martial artist, has no stake in anything that happens, and logically should never lose. On top of this, her existence shits on the entire premise of Psycho Power that is integral to Bison and Rose’s stories. If you tried to sell me a Magical Girl fighting game with Ingrid as the lead character, I’d at least take a look for the novelty. But in a game where the baseline is characters like Ryu, Chun-Li, and Zangief, she doesn’t belong.
As for Ingrid vs Necalli, this depends heavily on how Necalli interacts with Ingrid’s powers. If he treats it like Psycho Power, her attacks should hardly faze him. If Ingrid’s abilities are considered beyond what Necalli devours, she beats him handedly. I’d still call it for Ingrid in the former situation because she has enough tools to get out of there before Necalli can get his hands on her tiny throat.
If Ingrid is canon to Alpha 3, then the Yun in that game is actually the Yun from CFE, which opens up a lot of questions.
