I’m disappointed but it could be worse. At least Capcom didn’t bring in Dark Sakura from MSHvSF or something stupid like that. lol
BALROG STORY MODE FOOTAGE!!! (follow the link)
First look at Balrog here:
He’s looking BADASS! <3
Chances are that they’ve got the full story mode available and players may take turns advancing it.
If that were true then the whole cinematic story should be on youtube by the end of E3.
Daemos:Urien will likely appear very late in the cinematic story I think and if the demo they will show us starts from the beginning then no Urien.

I would think that they want to keep some elements of the story a surprise and wouldn’t want anyone ruining the ending or stuff in game by playing the whole thing and blabbing about it before it’s release.
i thought you selected a character to play through cinematic story mode with and you got their version? or is it not like the other sf games?

No, you just go through the story mode and there is no character selection. It’s mostly random, unlike Mortal Kombat story mode which puts you through one character per chapter. In the 5 chapters of A Shadow Falls, you can play multiple characters, depending on the scenario.

No.
You play the cinematic story and it decides which character you play as it goes on, sometimes switching from one character to play to the next in the same scene. For example, if the scene requires that Bison beats the shit out of Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li, you will suddenly play Bison and beat the shit out of those characters.
edit-
Beat me to it.
Umm, WHAT THE FUCK were you people expecting after seeing Sakrua in her old costumes in not one, but two of the character stories? People never cease to amaze me with their far-fetched expectations.
We aren’t SURPRISED by it. We just hate it.
Holding out hope that her Story alt is gym teacher if she gets in, but I just know it’s gonna be some stupid party dress like it is for Karin and Ibuki.
With Sakura though?
Capcom - “She must be a schoolgirl! …please understand” fap fap fap
That’s your explanation
They could have at least given us some alts, like they did with Viper.
Something I found on Capcom Unity’s blog: Their E3 Schedule. While they have nothing streaming for today, since it’s mostly to feature their upcoming games, there will be a stream on wednesday of SFV story mode + Ibuki exhibition.
Wednesday, June 15
10am to 11am - Monster Hunter Generations demo playthrough with development staff
11am to 12pm - Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice behind the scenes stories from development staff and questions from fans
**12pm to 1pm - Street Fighter V Cinematic Story mode and Ibuki exhibition matches with Peter “Combofiend” Rosas and Mike “Mike Ross” Ross
**
Street Fighter V (PS4, PC; Full game out now, new DLC out late June 2016) – The upcoming Cinematic Story expansion, “A Shadow Falls,” will be available for play, presenting the first ever cinematic story mode in a Street Fighter game, and bridging the gap between the events of Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter III (which is after IV on the timeline). Casual play for Street Fighter V will also be available throughout the day, with everyone’s favorite high-school ninja, Ibuki, playable for the first time. We’ll also have tournaments throughout each day on the eSports stage, so if you’re looking to sign up for a chance at prizes and glory, make sure you get there early!

While there is more likely to be a lot more footage revealed tomorrow during the Capcom Unity Livestream, the game at the Capcom booths have the SFV story expansion playable for people. So there is a chance we’ll see some more to come from now until then.
just5moreminutes:The thing is, Alex looks a lot older than he should be. SF3 Alex looked like an even younger, stylized 80s Hulk Hogan. SFV Alex looks like Hulk Hogan in the 90s with lighter skin and more hair. The greater problem with SFV’s art direction is that men have a lot of “hard” features. This works well for masculine types like Ryu, Guile and Zangief, who are meant to look chiseled and rough, but pretty boys like Vega, Ken, and Alex just don’t translate very well.
That was when i was saying that Nash is a better Alex than Alex
For whatever reason the modeller that did him (Nash) managed to traslate well the right slighty anime good look with the little gritty SFV styleLater i will probably shoop Ken and Vega too

Taken from Eventhubs: First impressions of the story mode.
[details=Spoiler]EventHubs’ very own Steven ‘DreamKing’ Chavez is on hand at E3 2016 collecting information about Street Fighter 5’s June update, and relayed some initial impressions of the game’s story mode.
DreamKing felt like SF5’s story mode wasn’t as strong as the same offerings from NetherRealm Studios, but that the mode was still entertaining and worth playing through.
The story mode functions the same way the prologues did, being only one round and about the same difficulty, meaning they’ll be pretty easy for most players to cruise through.
**Lots of cut scene time
**
The ratio between actual gameplay and time viewing cut scenes is heavily in favor of the latter, with about a 15 second fight being followed by a four minute cut scene. The scenes themselves look very good though, and are definitely entertaining.
They do a solid job of further explaining the character’s personalities and expanding upon them.
**Not a bad experience, but not an amazing one either
**
It just didn’t feel like the initial scenes tied into the gameplay as much as they could have, lacking compelling reasons as to why you’re fighting. Also, because the fight scenes are so easy, it’s a little detracting from the overall experience, although it’s worth pointing out the game will feature a hard mode as well, which will increase the challenge.
SF5’s story mode follows a linear path, which cycles through the various cast members, as you’re not allowed to choose any one person’s story.
Story mode is one full story arc, broken down into scenes.
**Closing thoughts
**
I asked DreamKing if NRS games were a 10/10 for story mode, how he’d rate his initial experience with SF5’s story mode, and he said about a 6 or 7 out of 10 range, but he stressed that it’s still very early, and he’d like more time before offering a definitive overall score. The reasons cited were that it’s more like a viewing experience than a gameplay experience.
The graphics in this mode look terrific though, so you’re getting some nice eye candy for playing through.
He added that it’s a big step up from SF5’s current prologue.
Overall, it’s a good experience, especially for a free update to the game, but it probably won’t knock your socks off.
This is just our initial impressions of story mode so far, so stay tuned for more thoughts in the future.[/details]
The 4 Kings are gonna kill each other before the good guys can at this rate lol
As much as Balrog and Vega dislike each other, I could totally see them teaming up to neutralize F.A.N.G. because of how annoying he is towards them. Based on Claw’s story and win quote to F.A.N.G., you can tell he really hates him. I have no doubt Rog’s disdain will be reflected in his own win quote. He might even try to salvage F.A.N.G.'s poison to sell it for some quick $$ or something.
Ah, so there’ll be the opportunity to play story on hard. That’s pretty cool. I’m glad we’ll have that option.
