Someone made a compelling case about Yoko’s profile being “canonly comprised around the time of ZERO3”.
Because the Iwashigahama beach 50th anniversary was depicted in SFZ3 this means Yoko retired 6 years before the events of Alpha 3. She had met Mika 3 years prior to Alpha 3 when Mika was 16 in high school, which happens to be 3 years after her match with B Widow and retirement (mentioned in AASFZ3).

If SFV takes place closer to the time of SF3 (1996 probably) this should mean that Mika is around 27.

I’d take B.Widow over Hugo. She could make a nice rival for Mika. A gigantic German woman would be super interesting for Street Fighter, and the closest we’ll likely get to Hugo’s mother.

This leaves Laura, Alex, Guile, and Urien. One way to “fix” this would be making Nash’s rival Guile and pitting Urien against Bison (both are megalomaniacs), but we still don’t really have much plot for Laura and Alex. I would almost justify shipping Laura x Alex as a massive middle finger to Sean.
@bakfromon Not to undermine your work, but considering Sakura in SFIV, I doubt Capcom would put that much care into Mika’s age.

It isn’t my theory it’s just a tweet I translated from a Japanese fan who has access to the fan books concerning the topic. As soon as I read all of it I automatically thought of Sakura, who by this logic would be around the age of 22 at the earliest still wearing her “school girl uniform”.
I just wanted to show that in the AASFZ3 guide Yoko’s injury happens 3 years prior to meeting Mika. The stage entry for “Sardine Beach” in AASFZ3 is actually a letter that Mika receives from Yoko when she takes on the moniker of “rainbow”. If this new “profile” was taken around the time of the 50th anniversary of Iwashigahama and it mentions a total of 6 years passing since her injury, that would mean that Mika would have trained with her a total of 3 years.

Cool, i was already thinking that Azam concept may be some sort of T.Hawk(as big agile dude), with the ability of create tornados without ki, just using movements (kinda like Joe Higashi)
It will be a cool concept if he can use tornados (were he can go throught) to trap the opponents… like trap the enemy between a tornado ad himself, or trap the enemy in a corner with a tornado then go through it to get close at throw distance
Basically more than projectiles as barriers to help his throws game
Imagine a slow version of Joe Higashi’s tornados or Rashid V-Trigger (maybe as V-skill?)
Do you think Juri vs Nash will happen? Both want to end Bison by their own hand, so either they team up or they try to gut each other to get the other out of their way and leave no competitors.
Does’nt make much sense fight, in fact she did’nt even attacked or just looked aggressive at Guile/Abel
