So the digital copy of the Akuma v Oro issue of UDON’s “Street Fighter Unlimited” came out today. Gill makes the secret society public, and we see Akuma’s ass crack after Oro throws him at a volcano. 3/10 very disappointed.

I was disappointed in the fight between Akuma and Oro. And for the most part, the 5th issue felt slower paced, dealing more with the plot than actual action, but for me, Gill shined the most in this issue. [details=Spoiler]And I love how the heroes Chun-Li, Guile, Cammy, and Alex are starting to feel like they “are fighting on the wrong side of history”. Now that the world seems to see Gill as the second coming of Jesus[/details]

I don’t like Gill in this issue because he takes the “Secret” out of Secret Society and basks in all the attention like a narcissist. We see Gill shaking hands and taking pictures with various world leaders (FUCKING OBAMA), which kind of lessens his “divine” presence. The right way would have been making all the world leaders come to him-[details=Spoiler]especially since they’re all 12 clones[/details]-on a status of, “beg for my mercy and I shall favor your people”. The TED talks knockoff was kind of silly.

That’s my main problem with this issue: it takes silly ways to progress a serious plot.

I can’t exactly blame Charlie for willing to kill Cammy as well because in the days when Charlie was still his old self - Cammy was under Shadaloo’s/Bison’s influence, obviously Charlie doesn’t know what actually happened to her and that Cammy’s not responsible for her past but Bison is, so Charlie by default dismisses Cammy as his enemy and and ally to Shadaloo, even despite it not being true anymore for so many years since she was freed from the brainwashing

My interpretation of Nash’s quote to her suggests to me Nash knows she is now fighting against Shadaloo and he doesn’t care, because any affiliation to Shadaloo is punishable by death. Like “I don’t care you are fighting for the good guys or you had no control over your past.” And quoting from the horse’s mouth, “If you were his servant, you are just as guilty”.

1. We have absolutely no idea or source saying if he was promoted, unless you can tell me otherwise
2. I was talking more about what exactly does he do in the Air Force, or what is he really in charge of. For a supposed airman, we don’t really see him fly that much
