Alex has been shown wrestling and Birdie is a former pro-wrestler alongside Titanic Tim. The term “heel” is the term for a bad guy in wrestling. “Jobber” is a term for a wrestler that is a perpetual loser…ie: Brooklyn Brawler or any number of other guys that only lose in matches.
Basically, Alex is saying that Birdie isn’t even a real grappler…he’s just a total scrub who only exists to lose.
That pretty much sums Birdie up in a nutshell. So basically he doesn’t lose because he’s a bad guy, he just loses because he’s what Alex would refer to as a “Loooosah”
Yo, what if Allen Snider *really **is *the “Allen” that was an experimental body for Bison? He’s the only EX exclusive character that’s never made an appearance after EX1, and I always thought it was strange how everyone else (aside from Akuma) has returned in the sequels except for him.
Shadaloo were kidnapping martial artists left and right throughout the yrs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Allen caught their attention and became an unwilling participant of their plans. From what I remember, he was always entering the US tournaments to test his skills, which would’be been the *perfect *stomping ground for an organization like Shadaloo to scout him. His techniques are *very *similar to ansatsuken users. His Shoryuken is named the Rising Dragon, though his other techniques (Soul Force=Hadouken, Fire Force=Shinku Hadouken) are named differently. He also has a variety of his own moves.
While Allen Snider the character **isn’t **canon to the main Street Fighter world, it’s very possible that the idea of him is. Just a random ass thought.
I actually like the EX, but only what it does by adding SH-11, and M.Bison II.
It say’s Allen is a SFZ3 character, and I don’t know of any "Allen" that appears or is mentioned in game, so even though this entry is from a source guide I have to wonder what the original source material is? It’s making me curious as to what the AASFZ3 book will hold, which I’m actually gonna cover parts of next as I finish up some of the misc. stuff, along with some parts of SFII Complete Files (which I’ve been dying to take a look at since forever). I’ve figured out that the larger entries in the AASFZ3 guide are stage descriptions, which detail the events that lead to the reason why it’s being featured as a fighting stage. I’ll probably save those for dead last as I’m not enthused about doing them even though I’m excited to see what their about. M Bison’s Z3 stage description mentions something about Chun Li, I think she may have pursued him to this location?
Although @“Doctrine Dark” Could you do me a huge solid by compiling an album of the remaining EX profiles I can do, as well as the remainder of the indivdual Doll profiles, and any other misc stuff you can come across that’s game related (like SnH or Soul Power for instance if available). We have Noembelu, Juli, Juni, and Aprile, but we need the rest. so here’s a list of their names in Japanese to help you find them quicker.
Yea SnH is the first one and the Dolls are all there. Idk if Soul Power is listed, but it looks like this “ソウルパワー”. The book seems to be in Alphabetical from what I can tell so maybe it’ll be listed with “ソ” section (if there is one)? Also here’s Rose’s SFZ bio all together
Nah it’s not only a lil bit shorter, Gief is like twice thicker than him as build
Even Haggar is supposed to be a lil bit smaller/weaker (but probably better as more experienced/faster/technical/intelligent), and Haggar himself is also bigger than Alex
Moveset is’nt a good indicator of characters canon abilities, or everyone can launch easily Hugo (or a T-rex in CFJ case lol).
Btw the fact that he impale peoples is made to show that’s he’s one of the most powerful in SFV, even if the method is different: Gief is more brute strenght, Birdie strenght+centrifugal force, Alex strenght+technique+speed
If they ever do a canon pure strenght (example weight lifting ability) tier list imho it will look something like that
imho
*Hugo being the only that can maybe surpass Gief in pure strenght. Probably Hugo being overall stronger due size/weight and Gief still close being P4P stronger
**Even if as design Hakan look bigger (i blame SF4 Honda shity model) him and Honda are supposed to be kinda equal in strenght with theyr unique abilities (sumo vs oil wrestling) being the factor in theyr rivalry.
Haggar can be slighty stronger or slighty weaker than them idk, seem the classic upper strenght vs core strenght thing.
Q is fucking strong and probably P4P strongest, as he’s not a normal human (IF he’s human) not sure where place him.
Birdie is huge as fuck
***Put Birdie double here too because while being gigantic and with huge arms he seem also lazy as fuck, so i can see Capcom saying that despite size Alex is more or less equal thanks to training discipline/costancy
I put Alex over any other above-average “strong guy”, char like Abel, Sodom, Balrog, Sagat, Rufus, Gouken, Blanka(?) and so on
If you’re familiar with fight sports weight classes i see Alex as the “smallest” and fastest HW, kinda able to outmuscle anybody at LHW and lower.
Except weight classes here are more strenght tier than weight itself
Imo pure strength characters would look something like this
Q???> Hugo = Gief = Hawk > Birdie(dude used to be able to topple trains) = Haggar = Alex > Honda = Hakan.
Take into consideration that the weakest person on this strength tier is still more than a match in pure strength alone for the strongest member on the list. Given the fact that most of the regular cast should be able to lift a couple tons at a max, grapplers should be much stronger than this.
