Could you please have a quick look at the Complete File scans and give us a general information whether this book says anything new or if it’s just the same stuff that was already said in the AAC book?

I’ll add her along with Eliza when I get to do hers next. The thing about source material for SF4, besides the concept art books that were released for SF4, I can’t recall any definitive SF4 source material, outside the manuals and games themselves. The SF4 story is the most fluid out of any of the others, therefore it shouldn’t be too hard to put everything together (most of it’s obvious for the most part). I think something interesting about SF4 is how not only cutscenes tie into the story, but the stages as well like in the Alpha and 3 series. There’s not only a story with the characters, but whats going on in the backdrop that expands on the overall picture of the story. There’s always a certain predetermined time, and setting, and event going on that the fighters have place themselves into if it’s not a traditional arena. So there’s always that element to it I consider, and I’ve noticed some cases the AAC book considers as well (like how dirty Birdie is for having his Alpha 2 stage being a bathroom).
Agreed. The only source I heard about a good while back was a Master Guide of some sort. From what I know about it, there wasn’t much in terms of information and it mainly covered the endings for the Arcade version. I’m sure we’ll ***all ***be able to put together a respectable guide for SF4 and SF5 since the information is more readily available.

Well, if SF5 is anything to go by, Akuma got his ass kicked by Gouken after having his Raging Demon nullified. Maybe that’s why he’s hiding in SF5.

Eh, akuma could be omnipotent lvls…still wouldn’t be relevant to the story. I don’t know what he needs. But hitting a meteor still wouldn’t get him far. Since he’s in T7…just keep him there. Then Ryu can move on get rid of the darkness become pure like he wants finally and then everyone is happy.

I added the Street Fighter 4/Super Street Fighter 4 (from the manual) plot synopsis to the guide. They were hella long compared to the ones in AAC. Now we need the plot synopsis for Street Fighter 5. Sucks that there’s no manual to give a synopsis…

I was hoping for some sort of deeper rivalry between these too, since Alex was always intended to match Gief in strength and size but, be quicker than him overall. I thought they would at least put a quote referencing that (even though it’s obvious from game play).
