Is it possible that Rose’s entire basis for Soul Power actually comes from an infusion of energy from Bison to start with?
Interesting, I previously knew about the childhood training, but I never knew they started at 6. All that should hopefully shut down the “Necalli is totally gonna merge with Oni to become Gill/ the brothers were accelerated but made by shadaloo out of Seth” theories.
I think that is the best option. Whatever is added to the wiki could be undone or damaged within a weekend by an overzealous user. With having SRK host it, it has the advantage of being a popular and respected site, so where better than to get an official source. I honestly hope this starts a new generation of people knowledgeable in SF lore.

" tremble as you witness “your form” plunge the world in darkness…" yeah, that part is particularly hard to translate. That’s whay I posted that footnote. However, I noticed that there’s a part written differently than from the original text in the game.

AASFZ1 section called “Zero World” mentions that Rose don’t talk much about how she learned to use Soul Power, the only thing that is known is that she studied it for several years under someone she used to call “master”. Also, on her account from the same book, the “master” figure is said to have transmitted the following words: "One day, for sure, you’ll go to the place of combat/battlefield. Never forget one thing: ‘Soul Power’ is, for you, a powerful weapon, and also a insuperable weak point/weakness… " somethig also mentioned on her Vanilla SFIV prologue.
When and how Vega taught Rose to use Soul Power is a mystery. My opinion is that he did it soon after killing his master but before going into a murder spree… If he taught her and, during her training, transferred his part of Soul Power (and part of his soul in the process) so he could master Psycho Power entirely isn’t known. We don’t evem know if her training regimen was on the physical or astral plane…

@“Lord Vega” This is a great translation of her rival matches and ending. The parts that are bold are pretty much accurate, I probably would have worded some things differently but the message is the same, and since you covered Rose’s Alpha 3 bio I wont have to.
I took the extra time to add Kolin’s bios before moving to Ryu since they’re short and she’s relates to the topic of Gill which I previously covered.

Hmmm… looking at it more closely, I think that the page I said, “I have no clue”, before might be some sort of timeline for the series.
The top left looks like it might be indicating the time between games
SF1 -> SFZ1 (No idea what those words me) SFZ2 seems to take place at same time so that would fit with people saying that it replaced Z1. Then unknown time between Z2 and Z3, then 3~4 years between Z3 and SF2 series. Seems implied that maybe all SF2 series takes place at same time or same year? then 3~4 years later (maybe) it’s SF3
That’s just a guess from the numbers and what I already know of the the storyline combined with the layout of that particular section. I don’t read a lick of any form of Japanese, heh.

Exactly. From what I’ve seen so far, and assuming that the original scan shows all ingame models in scale, the impression I get is that height differences are scaled about 1.75x for dramatic purposes.
This way, if Charlie is supposed to be 11cm taller than Ryu, his actual model is 11x1.75=19cm taller than Ryu. Likewise, if Cammy is supposed to be 11cm shorter than Ryu, her actual model is 19cm shorter than him.
Really? Iiiinteresting! I always thought that Rose would be younger than Bison, but around her 30s (especially with the implied master-pupil arrangement), but she may very well be close to his age. Is it just saying she’s cougar-tastic, or she doesn’t age normally? If that’s the case, then Bison may be much older than I thought (I’ve been thinking late 50s-60s for a while).
The literal translation has Chun Li describing her as “Obasan” (madam) which is basically the opposite of “Ojousan” (young miss) describing someone who could be your mother or aunts age. So Im guessing since Alpha Chun is in her late teens she would see Rose as someone in her mid to late 30’s early 40’s
I think it goes back to her being inspired by Lisa Lisa from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. A character who, despite not looking any older than him, is actually Jojo’s mother.
