I never felt the Ryu/Chun li ship. It always felt to me like it was just because the two were main characters. Sure there’s a respect for the two there, but in terms of personal interaction, it seems like they haven’t really met all that much. Also, Chun Li is a young woman who I can’t see sitting around and waiting for mr wandering monk to settle down. If she thinks he’s uninterested or aloof, she can do better – she’s fit, attractive and accomplished, so outside of the Shadaloo business, I can see her having an active dating life if she wanted.
If they made an effort to build on that in canon, so be it. If Guile wasn’t married I could see their mutual tragedies bringing them together.
Chun-Li with anyone never made sense until Charlie showed up.
Ryu + Chun-Li is totally without logic or merit. Sorry, but it is.
Cammy + Juni is adorable and makes sense.

Chun-li and Nash should’ve been a thing until Bison took him away from her. It was the perfect tragedy waiting to happen.
