pats forehead with handkerchief She’s absolutely lovely, saw the photoset of her in Chun Li’s alt costume floating around the net on the weekend.
Back on topic, with the trailer for SF: Resurrection, I know it wont be canon, but I’m wondering how close Joey Ansah and the team worked with the SF5 writers, wondering if we can gleam any details for June’s story mode from this. Definitely gonna be some segregation between the two mediums, but you never know, some details could cross over.
He doesn’t. It’s a mistake people keep making in universe, someone broke it down a few pages ago about how his usage is closer to I think legal documents and such.
I’m actually gonna retract my statement a tad bit because I noticed something about Fang’s 2 character that’s off. It has an extra line on the top of the character which throws the meaning off. Fang actually combines two formal ways of writing the character 2; 貳 (Chinese) and 弐 (Japanese), to make his unique character which really has no meaning and confuses people. But it’s still Fang’s way of being fancy, he actually intends to write it that way as it combines two ways of writing 2. Here I thought that Chun and Karin didn’t handle their own finances.
Edit: Ironically by changing that specific number character it actually goes against the reason for the number being written the way it is to prevent forgeries.
Especially for Assassin’s Fist being a indie project it’s really solid. I’m hoping Resurrection turns out at least as good (even though I have my real hopes for World Warrior I wanna SF2 story just as good as AF).
Assassin’s Fist >>>> Mortal Kombat Conquest easily. It’s fun, serious, hilariously goofy at certain times and overall captures the essence of who especially Ryu and Ken are. Proud to own it too - they’ve done the characters justice for sure.
Substance wise Assassin’s fist all the way…but if were talking women in skin tight revealing clothing than Mortal Kombat Conquest has more of that in spades.
The movie itself, which is what really matters in this genre, is coming out on 15th. Behind the scenes, soundtrack, comicbook and other superfluous things to keep casuals occupied so they feel they are “understanding the movie” come later.
We may add Ryu to the comparison. In SFA Ryu’s arms were stronger than Chun Li’s, of course, but they were on the same order of magnitude; the difference increased tenfold with Chun Li’s redesign in SF3. Since then Chun Li’s arms are not much thicker than Sagat’s toes (<-not an exaggeration).
I was going to ask you if the 2 character was actually well written, because it seemed weird that both Chun and Karin were wrong. On the other hand, Chun’s quote against Fang kinda sounded like she didn’t know about that character at all, at least in the English quote, so I was again starting to believe that Fang was in the right.
