I noticed something about Ryu’s story that confirms a part of the conversation we had a few pages back about Nash.
[details=Spoiler]
In Ryu’s story Nash appears and challenges him to a fight. Just before the fight Ryu mentions that Nash’s presence is drawing the SnH out of him. Nash replies that he expected that his power would do that, as no man should have access to them. I believe that because of his undertaking of vengeance, Nash has awoken a murderous intent inside of him which is directed towards Bison. Nash doesn’t have the SnH, but because Ryu’s Hado can sense his hostility and intent to kill Bison, it’s naturally drawn out.
By the end Ryu confirms this stating that he’s trying to suppress his intent. While Nash replies that their goals differ in this regard.
This may even be the general plot that Street Fighter: Resurrection is based on. [/details]
Fraid so buddy. Birdie is a full foot taller and 300 pounds heavier. Its the same reason you have weight divisions in combat sports bigger people just beat down on little people this truth is what turns the wheels of history.
So someone posted this great speculation on Necalli over on another site I think clears some stuff up about his origins. pretty well. I though I should share it with you guy’s maybe get some thoughts.
Being extremelly fat isn’t the same as being extremelly strong. When people separate fighters according to weight, they’re assuming the difference in weight lies in muscle, not fat.
You can weight about 300 lbs of pure fat and be so weak that you wouldn’t be able to get out of bed. My point being that Birdie being heavier proves nothing when you notice most of his weight comes from donuts.
EDIT: LOL seems like Necalli is like Eliza from skullgirls, except with way less boobs. Interesting origin for a Street Fighter guy.
Someone correct if I am wrong, but I believe capcom said the arcade modes take place in the past, and the story mode patch that’s coming in March will show events of the present.
Capcom said the character stories are prologues. They will show how the characters got to where they are presently and serve as build up for the climatic story mode for June.
Genuinely seems like a totally inhuman monster. I think the warrior-prophet Majin-Buu style connection could be spot-on. Necalli LITERALLY v-awakens his power…emphasis on the “awaken”. That might also explain the difference in speech patterns…PillarNecalli speaks normally, but merged with Warrior Prophet his personality is all messed up, leading to the weird stutter-echo
Ok so I’m sure this has been mentioned before but balrog saved a kid in his SFIV ending, then the kid’s right hand starts glowing with a shadaloo symbol on it. In nash’s story mode, he meets a kid called ed who looks really similar to that ‘‘eisbahn’’ character in the london station background banner. Nash confronts him and the kid is all smug n shit, and his right hand has a glowing shadaloo symbol on it. That is DEFINITELY the kid in balrog’s ending, and might be that eisbahn character.
Ohh get your shit straight son! Being obese doesn’t grant you magical powers, it obviously grants you hyper intelligence. But for that, you need to be fat AND have cool looking glasses. Birdie’s just fat.
Though funnily enough, if you could morph Birdie and Nash together you could form the smartest, most lethal killing machine that ever existed. It’s good that these characters don’t seem to have any relation what so ever. because it could destroy the hole Street Fighter universe.
Birdie already is the smartest, he gets to freeload off Karins billion dollar estate, and all he has to do is take a dive whenever she is feeling sassy.
