Don’t use the dummy try blocking it yourself. Also all u have to do is walk fwd and hwo gets hella blown up
Yeah upon further testing it works always if you’re close enough
Its pretty fcking derpy. Canceling any string into special step into the cross up overhead is very fast.
Like jump in, cr lp mk,mk,hk, special step, crossup overhead, cr mp cr mp qcb hk, switch does dumb good reset damage. Very hard to get out of
the OS that Dungeonman gave…
i think u can use the same tech too with in-between of Reverse Kick (MP>MP) : cr.LP>MP>qcb+K>MP
and yes the Flamingo Fire Storm (FS MK>LK) is pretty nasty on big characters, but is it +0 or +4 on block adv?
If you hold a forward direction, it’s +4. Otherwise, it’s 0.

need tips on safe jump and ambiguous crossup setups from a HK.HH and throws from mid-screen and corner
tried searching and backtracking on a couple few pages and other threads, but it seems i missed some and cant find it

I posted some safe jump setups around here (probably in this very thread).
Two things.
I found that relaunch combos are excellent setups into SS xx EX.DH cross up, but that only works if they tech and not roll.
If Vega stands to block a crossup EX.DH, it won’t cross up. I’m thinking because he’s a bit tall for it to work.
Hey guys, in case anyone still checks this board, I’m planning to do a bit of a write-up on offensive strategy with Hwoarang. I’m probably just going to include it in my Tekken string thread and change the title to something broader. There’s a few other bits of tech that I want to put somewhere accessible, but I still need to decide how I’m going to organize everything. Look forward to it.
