Highly unlikely. The throw itself does small damage, and it would be no reason to use anything but LK for the range in that case. In third strike they button you used decided how much the opponent bounced from the wall. I’m assuming this is the case in SFxT as well.
I have seen the ultra throw wiff pretty close. Crossup splash, c.jab blocked into a wiffed throw. Its use is gonna be limited to point blank 50/50 mixup or as a fast punisher.
But useless like that tutorial guy said? I doubt it. Even the most horrible moves in fighting games have uses.
I doubt they would try different button combinations for the EX, and if they did, they would’ve probably mentioned it seeing the result. Because this is the only time I’ve seen a wallbounce not acting in the way I described, I’m more inclined to believe it’s a glitch caused by the pandora activation. You might be correct, but at this point, I doubt it.
