****So I returned frontlines: Fuel of War. I got Halo 2 PC instead! Had some trouble customising my keyboard controls at first. I use e to move forwards, d to move backwards, a to move left and g to move right. It’s becauce I have big hands.

I started a new game with my new settings, but my mouse sensitivity is WAY too low. Just to turn 180 degrees, I have to labour! I went in to nVidia control panel and forced Vertical Sync on. This was supposed to fix this problem, but it didn’t. My mouse sensitivity is still wat too low to play halo 2 cormfortably. I got an X-Box 360 Controller for Windows, so I could always just use that for the game. Blah. My gut feeling tells me that Microsoft fucked up the mouse sensitivity on purpose to force halo 2 users to buy the X-Box 360 Controller for Windows. Well, if thay did, they succeeded in selling one more Controller; even though I bought it before buying Halo 2.

OK, I played through some of the singleplayer in Halo 2. And I have one thing to say. HOLY CRAP HALO 2 LOOKS LIKE HALF-LIFE 1. To say that I am unimpressed with the graphics would be an understatement. The sensitivity is fine when I use an X-Box 360 PC controller, so that problem is fixed. But holy crap, I wish i could fix my eyes to like this game.

I got the usb -> ps2 converter from TheSource…super cheap.

Sick.

Roblee, I will be needing one of those cds.

I feel like negotiating the price…I guess it really is in my blood.

Jay a.k.a. Makoto Masters. I feel like ClockTower. Tell me what’s good.

Only 2 exams out of 5 courses…hot.

lol I was about to post about Clocktower…

I know first hand that the adapter from the Source with double ps2 slots, is garbage.
You will not be able to escape the lag it has.

Actually there are very few adapters that don’t lag. I believe the Source had one previously (single slot) that was pretty good.

Mine has one slot for the ps2 controller and one slot for the usb. Is that the good one?

I could return it if it’s not as it is unopened, I have the receipt and I will be on campus for a while.

I don’t know if it’s good or not.

You can open it, set everything up and try it out against the computer to check. The Source will still allow you to return it (that’s what I did with the dual ps2-1 usb one)

Alright.

I have a good feeling about this one because I have seen others using it.

It’s actually why I grabbed this one, as it was familiar to me.

You want to meet at clocktower again or somewhere else?

Our time slot last time was sick…not busy at all.

Clocktower for sure. I agree about the time we went last time…

you’re probably right about the adapter, because I went to the Source to buy one for the reason that I heard and read it had a good one.

I think I rushed in buying my converter. Its garbage. Its got 2 ps2 slots.Could be the one ur talking about Jay.Fuck.That shit was expensive too!

Dee come to cave tonight

Yea I remember it being like 30$ after tax. I returned that shit in no time.

What’s funny is that I ordered 2 usb-converters from EBay from like Hong Kong or something with no brand name…and they work waaay better (not perfect but close). Cost me 8$ with shipping for both.

Napalm Kid, whats your real name? Play me in Tekken Tag!

Does anyone have the Stragegy guide for Halo 2 or FF 12?

So I went to return Halo 2, citing that I could not login to Windows Live. The guy says, “OK, I will order you another copy. I can’t give you full prce store credit, I can only give you another copy of THIS game, Halo 2.” I then proceed to say that I ALSO didn’t like the game. He says that has nothing to do with the return. “But to be honest, if you couldn’t login before, nothing is going to change with a new copy of the game.” So I ask him if the copy I have/had has the book and all, and he shows me that it does. But in the process of checking to see if it has the book, he takes a card form it with the CD key. He looks at it and says, “Well, here’s your problem.” He then proceeds to peel off a cardboard stick-on. Underneath is the REQUIRED Windows Live login Code! “How was I supposed to know, I’m not a 360 guy!” I laugh!

It was an interesting trip. I went in thinking, “Holy crap, what a shitty game this is.” And I leave with the realization that Microsoft has cunningly set up itself so that it is impossible to RETURN this shitty game:rofl:.

I guess I will have another go…because the game is un-returnable. It’s like Half Life 1 with a bit of quake 4…but more like Half Life 1.

Anyone know if Halo 1 is available for PC? The game refers so much to Halo 1 in the storyline that I feel like I am watching a movie that is 2/3 finished already

A great thing I notice is that Crysis runs GREAT with the XB 360 controller PC! It even has a spot in the options/controls menu for the XB 360 controller!

Halo 3 clips

are u using nfba or mame?

fba has the least input delay of all the emulators. most emulators can’t do be better than 2 frames minimum delay. Also i have the 2 ps2 port converter. Works fine for me on ggpo with a ps1 pad. Did you guys fix the polling rates?
