Yeah, I agree. The R rating didn’t just come with gore and nudity, the writing was better as well. In the modern horror movies, you basically have a bunch of assholes getting killed, and you don’t really care either way, except maybe for the token big titty bitch. In old school horror movies with character development, the characters that you really like get killed. The whole crew was so bad ass in the first Predator, you didn’t want any of them to die.
Also, please give an example of horror movies with said tits. I was watching a random old school horror movie called The Beast Within, and out of nowhere, a really nice pair of tits graced the screen. I was expecting that to be it, but then near the end it happened again. Needless to say, it improved the viewing experience.

I wouldn’t recommend Tetsuo though because if you don’t think she’s ready for Eraserhead, she’s probably not ready for the drill-penis. Since you like zombies and she likes the surreal, the Italians have some good offerings, so I’d recommend Fulci’s City of the Living Dead and The Beyond. Argento’s Inferno is also a good call, but there’s no zombies.
Thanks again. Yeah Tetsuo is on a different level and also Miike’s works. I almost seen it all so I think I know what she is not ready for. I’m doing this marathon for her this time so it’s ok if there’s no zombie.

What about Cronenberg’s? Dead Ringers, Crash, Existenz, etc anything really just check out the plot/synopsis for his movies and pick whatever you think suits you the best…
I hate cheap scares. Especially when it one after another. It takes away from the movie. It feels like it takes a lot of time for the mind to recover from those moments.
Because there is no entertainment value gained from watching it. It is a terrible movie. In my honest opinion I think it makes THC look tame. A Serbian Film is a movie that doesn’t push the envelope. It takes the envelope and rapes, cuts it up and then takes a dump on it. If you have an iron stomach and are pretty much desensitized, then by all means check it out.
yeah, that is why I watched it, to say I have seen it. But I should have listened to my friend. Basically there is one scene that just messed with me, and it was very hard for me to continue watching it. it is that type of movie. I think the difference between THC2 and A Serbian Film is that THC2 is very silly and stupid when you put it into context. On the other hand A Serbian Film was basically exploiting very real problems (pedophilia, rape, murder, etc). So yeah I say watch it and get back to me on what you think. I know some may say I am being over sensitive, but I think it struck a chord with just about everyone who has seen it, not just me.
Problem I had with A Serbian Film is that it went too far to the point of absurdity. It became sort of a pitch black horror comedy for me. Some parts that stood out for me include the:

the nurse taking the hormones and pleasuring herself to death with a steel pipe (though this was implied, no gruesome masturbation you pervs)
Was anyone a fan of Clive Barker’s Nightbreed? I was a big fan of it, and liked the social undertones that it had. I also wonder why Dr. Decker was not talked about among horror enthusiasts. I thought dude was freaking scary as folk! Out of all the Horror icons who wear masks, Decker was one of the creepiest imo.
