All panels have shipped except for three customers that havenāt submitted art yet. Once they get submitted, weāll be good to go!
Anyone have any experience wet sanding the stock panel to get rid of light scratches? I tried some plastic polish and did not get the result I was looking for. My fear is that the artwork really isnāt protected by anything and will be sanded off, even by 1k to 2k grit paper.

that stupid cloth they sent with the VLX scratched the surface of my panel and case!
does nobody test things!? I was SO HOT!!!
I even wore stupid surgical gloves the first month I played on it since I was so reverent!

I had great success using 2k paper, automotive rubbing compound, polish and a high speed buffer when restoring my knackered VLX panel. The art is not on the top layer so, youāll be fine.
How is the paint on these? Does it wear easily? I have an opportunity to buy one at a good price, but want to know what issues there are.

Hard to say, I been pretty gentle with my VLX so there no wear and tear on the paint it self
Someone with sweaty, grimy hands is going to wear out the paint finish faster as human sweat is slightly acidic.
Well itās painted and not powder coated and doesnāt seem like any top clear coat or anything over the black paint, so itās prone to scratching the paint off if youāre not careful or wear watches or bracelets etc while playing, and also sweat will wear down the paint(make it soft and peel of like some people had in the earlier versions, but possibly also a defect) too if you play a lot and donāt wipe down the wrist rest areas after long sessions if youāre the sweating type.
Been using mine 3-6 days a week 1-3 hours a day since it came out and itās still perfect.
I used some Novus 2 on the top panel where there were hairline scratches and swirls and it removed them, no clue about deep scratches though because I donāt have any.

Itās only high maintenance if you value it like a collectors piece and want to keep it in pristine condition. If you can get one for a good price and arenāt afraid of a little damage, the same kind you would get on any other stick, then it is worlds apart from the other mass produced sticks on the market.

Just out of curiosity, any HITBOX players looking to get a HITBOX version of the VLX Panel done? 10 panel minimum again, but if the demand is there Iād like to make them.
Also, I should be making some blank panels for the upper right here soon as well. Taking thoughts on blank vs. non-blank options.
I wonder if its possible to put 4 24 mm buttons there since it looks like there might be enough space based on the ampupcustoms one. 4 buttons on top could replace the home, share, l2 and r2 buttons which are all located there on the ps4 vlx.
Im guessing ampupcustoms made his with 3 buttons because the ps3 vlx only had 3 buttons up there.
Yeah I would be interested in a 4 button one if it fit nice, flush and solid and shipping was cheap. =)

Would love to see a panzer 1.0 with vewlix option with 4 24mm buttons revival too. Now Iām feeling like Iām asking just for too much.
