I’m sure this version will hit Amazon at $300 like the previous one.
The new Hrap Hayabusa with the Falcon buttons was on Play-asia at $99 but I don’t see that anymore, that was cheap, it’s $180 or something around that on Amazon at the moment but free shipping at least.
Ya, I’m hoping Hori USA, Amazon, Arcade Shock, etc. will carry it state side but I pre-ordered from Play-Asia to be on the safe side.
I’m sure Amazon and Hori USA will pick it, they picked up the new Hayabusa with Falcon buttons so it’s not a Japanese only stick so I’m sure the new VLX will follow.
If Amazon, Arcade Shock & Hori USA all carry it then Amazon is my last choice since they charge tax in my state so it’d cost me ~$325 total assuming they’re going to sell it for $300.

The hell is your state’s Sales tax percentage at? What state are you in? California?
I live in Maryland and it is only 6%.
I’m in Texas so it’s 8.25%. Play-Asia’s charging $235 + $60 shipping (FedEx 3 - 5 day delivery) while it’d be $300 + $25 (tax) if I were to buy from Amazon (again, assuming MSRP’S $300).
I’m in Korea and I’ll have to pay 30% tax ㅜㅜ

Regarding your inquiry, we have no plans to release this product in this US at this time.
It may be possible to import a Japanese version of this product through various importers or resellers.
This product is identical to the black version, aside from the buttons which will be the updated “HAYABUSA” buttons rather than the “KURO” buttons found in the black model.

At this point, it’s a good thing I pre-ordered from Play-Asia. Arcade Shock & I both think PA made a pricing error when they listed it but won’t know until/if they change the price. Perhaps they’ll reconsider in the future if there’s enough demand for it.
Here’s some updates on the Replacement Panels:
8 Button Panels went into production today! 13 Pre Orders! I ordered a few extra and left them on the site for those who will still want them. If you haven’t submitted art, please do so. I am going to start working on that over the next few days / weekend to help get these shipped as soon as possible.
6 Button Panels are still at 9 orders. I think one more will come in today based on a PM I received, so I believe these will be sent into the shop this week for manufacture as well. I will have a few extras made for those who maybe missed out on the run and will want them later (after I horde one for myself).
I appreciate the full support of the community on these. I will keep the design “open” and on hand for further batches as requested. I love doing this stuff and heck… maybe a HITBOX version will be made if enough people want it

Why does the red/metal VLX cost less than $300 with shipping included on playasia? Ive never imported anything but this stick seems worth it
