Did you get an invoice right away by email saying that you bought it? Did you send them an email because every VLX was shipped out already so there must be something wrong with your order if you did preorder it February.

A-S Fitness. We are all in shape for a few reasons. 2 rows deep and this is only two-thirds. We should have the majority of orders out today. All orders will be done by Friday."
For those that ordered two (no double box) from AS, did yours come in two separate retail boxes or two retail boxes inside a bigger (Hori branded) shipping box?
So my Fedex tracking says “Indirect Signature Required.” I won’t be home the expected delivery date, but I live in an apartment.
Does anyone know if this means that they will leave it at the apartment office?
Or would I have to leave a note on my door telling them its ok to leave it?
What this means is that if someone at your house/residence opens the door to receive the package, they sign it off and take the package even if that person isn’t you. If there is no one at your door to receive your package and sign it off, the package goes back to your closest FedEx office location. Then on your own time you could drop by and pick it up from the office in person.
I have no idea how apartments work in regards to postal workers and delivery people dropping off packages and mail, so uh good luck.
Finally got to open and mess around with it a bit. This thing is beautiful. I can see why people would want to swap the buttons though. The kuro buttons seem a lot… lighter than the Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons I’m used to.
They do leave a notification on the door that they been there.
You can sign it, and they leave the box at the door their next drop off (usually the next day or so) or you can call them and reschedule later that week, pick it up things like that.
I really want to change out my buttons and lever, on their instructions manual they deny fault for product failure if you open the top panel. I’m weary of my last hori product (pcb down direction died). Can they tell if you open the top panel?
There are 3 thumb screws located in the cord storage compartment. The top panel is hinged and opens towards the front, allowing you access in the rear like a real Vewlix arcade panel.
This is the one Hori product that is designed and intended to be open by the user.
There even a place to store 2 extra buttons, they provide you with button hole covers and zip ties if you want to go to a six button layout.
"on their instructions manual they deny fault for product failure if you open the top panel"
Yeah that is their disclaimer, it states if you screwed it up that they (Hori) will not take responsibility.
I just got mine in yesterday. The one that I got seems to be just about perfect. Swapped out buttons, 6 of the new royal blue Sanwas and two stiff ass buttons from an icade for the last 2. Yellow dustwasher and clear blue balltop.
