Speaking of VLX mods, is there someone here who can get me art for the 8-button Sega Astro City 2P layout panel (I have no art for it at all)? Preferrably stock VLX art replicas (one for the VLX Kuro and another for the VLX Hayabusa… ), but I’m open to alternatives. Thanks!

Yes. I guess; I did try my best to make it all black (stick ball top, shaft cover, dust cover and buttons), given the artless panel. That black metal panel doesn’t look as nice on a VLX Hayabusa though, which is my main motivation for asking for art. (I got another one of those panels)

I was stalking a post on Amazon Japan that had a used 360 VLX for around 10,000 yen, which is slightly less than $100. By the time I committed mentally to ordering it, It was gone T_T

@Markman is liquidating a lot his arcade collection on Twitter including VLXs $230shipped in US I believe. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has actual copies of every stick ever made so DM him on twitter.

Does anyone have the original Hayabusa VLX PS4 version top panel or the Jasens customs Sega layout 8 button panel they wanna sell? I’m interested in buying one as I drilled a 35mm hole into my VLX panel for a Korean stick but I wanna be able to use a JLF/Haybusa on it as well without it looking so gnarly. Lemme know guys. Thanks.

I get my “Kuro” VLX today, I expected the old Kuro buttons, instead of it, it came with the hayabusa buttons(the mate ones), so this is the VLX Kuro without the Kuro!

New VLX owner here. Similar to seqo, I ordered a VLX Kuro earlier this week but it came with the Hayabusa buttons. Got it from Newegg (where it’s still advertised with the Kuro buttons) for $249 including SF V Arcade edition (sale). I wonder if the stick has the revised PCB from the Japanese Hayabusa version with reduced input lag. Is there any way to find out?

You are right. Im just used to the old school 6 button setup. I wanted to go a straight six but it looked too weird.
