The Hori PS4 VLX thread

If you put it on the trading forum, I’m sure you can get a decent amount for it

I’d be more than happy to get it off you if you’re willing to ship to AU

I could use a few more bags

Have a figure in mind?

I got a bunch of PMs within a couple hours of posting above. Haha. I have someone who I made an offer to, but if it doesn’t go to any of those who PMed, I’ll put it in the trading outlet. I see one for sale on eBay now for $150 shipped. Seems high to me but I guess with fees and shipping costs for such a long bag (I personally wouldn’t want it folded when shipped to me), it’s not bad.

$150? Not yet enough to sell mine. ^^

“Hello and thank you visit my listing! This is a brand new Hori RAP travel bag that was released 6 years ago, it’s impossible to find in new condition.”

It’s possible, I never used mine. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh man, pre-orders are up on Amazon Canada for PS4 VLX Red with the Hayabusa buttons.

Life decisions here…

I honestly really don’t need it but I also need it. Hmmmm… Hmmmmmm…

Bah, don’t tempt me dude!

You guys are so lucky that these qualify for “free shipping”…

I have to pay an extra 100 or so to get it down under :frowning:

I have to say, the Hayabusa colour scheme is starting to become a favourite, I just love red! If the panel was stainless steel like the Diamond, it’d be my #1

Hopefully one day those Hayabusa matte buttons will be available for purchase. I’ve checked periodically on Arcadeshock but they’re always out of stock :bawling: .

You can just lay the ribbon in place and put some really tacky tape over it. As long as you don’t throw around your stick, it should hold up.

Should have watched my video

Nice I’ll try that

Anyone experience recent issues with the options button? I’m not entirely sure what the cause was but playing SFV lately and I have to hold the button down for a good 4-5 seconds to get the pause menu to appear… I’m sad because I haven’t dropped a hammer fist on the unit, but I do double tap the crap out of it before a match kicks in, hopefully it’s not buggered from overuse. I’m not ready to open it up yet, heck I don’t even know how to. I assume that 4 front panel screws need to be removed to check for internal damage. I don’t want my baby to be sick!!

There’s an option somewhere that makes you have to hold it down in case of accidental presses during a match(something tournaments should be using.)

There are 3 thumbscrews in the cord compartment; after you remove those, the entire top/front section (closest to the player) hinges open.

Interesting… It’s not the end of the world since it still works but just a bit of an inconvenience. I tried to read the owners manual to see if I may have mistakenly programmed something incorrectly such as a turbo button. Maybe I’ll have to look more closely. Thanks for the tip.

Sorry I mean an option in SFV.
I think it’s under shortcut options called type B for hold to pause and type A for normal pause.

red vlx coming to Amazon in May 24th.

So much for “Japan only”. Guess that means warranty support, whatever that’s worth.

Warranty doesn’t mean much, you’ll probably have to ship it back and pay the shipping and it’s heavy, and I think it’s 90 days only.
Better off just buying a Fightboard or Universal fightboard if something goes wrong with the internals at least.

We’re finally getting to review one of these babies.

Amazon has been good to me when it comes to returns. I sent them back a 13 month old PS4 (after a few emails) and got a full refund. Sony wanted to send me a Refurb and I ended up getting a full refund from Amazon and got a brand new console for about $80 less. Have never had to pay for return shipping either. So yeah, warranties don’t mean much but I would definitely get it from from Amazon if I didn’t have one already.
