BTW, Krasshole sucks, don’t listen to him However, I like his pudge build, I get hood too, nothing is better than it for an early game pudge imo. Flesh before stats EVERY time, you have bracers to make up for the missed stats and you want heap as soon as you can afford it. If you’re decent at last hitting + rotting to cover for mistakes you shouldn’t even be missing a last hit.
Although, I wouldn’t even take my advice, cause I haven’t wanted to play pudge since they changed him ages ago and nerfed hook from 1200 to 1000. AND they killed my double aegis build Stupid DotA.
Fuzzy Wuzzy for life, Jiggabry’s build is too pro.
you get stats because fleshheap only stacks with hood if u buy the hood first, durr! You also get stats for the same reason viper gets stats before skin.
its like what, 375+375+950+650? thats 2350g, + the ~1.5k i normally spend on bracers/boots isnt a whole lot by level 10. even then, you can delay flesh heap by a couple levels! 3800g by level 10/12. wowee thats hard. thats a couple hero kills and normal creep kills throughout a game.
i still dont know whats better from a math standpoint though, i dont have enough pudge experience.
First off knock off 375 because u always buy a small ring off the start if ur going hood.
If its AR knock off another small ring. After that its only about 32 creep kills by level 9 and i usually have 2 or 3 hero kills by then. Its easily affordable if you’re not a BAD player.
im factoring all of my gold even the starting gold dude you have to earn like 500 less than what i put, and its prolly a bit easier if you’re doing good in a non-em game by the time you hit 10 from easier hero kills (towers = <3 for pudge in non em, one good hook dismember = dead level 6 hero lol)
but yeah i always go circlet + ring so i can keep laning and borrow a chicken from someone else since pudge is a bad chicken candidate.
of course, theoretically, i can farm a hood + radiance + treads in under 10 minutes, easy. Unfortunately, it doesnt work that way, unless your playing a pub, which i assume a lotta ppl here do.
you guys can talk about builds all you want, but your not always gonna farm up, you need to be able to adapt your build according to how well your farming and the heros in the game
It is not hard to farm with pudge. I never play pubs and i manage to hold shit down. Theres a big fucking difference between farming a hood and radiance than farming a hood. You’re just being an idiot for no reason because you realized you’re wrong. If you cant get the hood before u reach level 10 then maybe you shouldnt play pudge.
I also think that my mortred is better than my spectre. I get higher scores with mortred. I notice that allot of people don’t like BF for mortred, but i certainly get that item to help me farm for an MKB then a BKB or curias… MKB is the most powerful to get for her, but i still think BF for her. You’ll farm very well because it goes with her level 6, w/c is why i aim for that item. all the time.
Treads, helm, Headress, bracers and BF is my initial build up until i get the chance to go up . I would eventually trade the bracers for an MKB and BKB, sometimes i go for satanic… and if there’s enough time i’ll trade the headress for a hyperstone. I like the build of battlefury, MKB and Satanic…
So in the end, my mortred will go treads, BF, MKB, BKB, Satanic and headress…
U never play pubs? What do you play then? Cal? CEGL? Some uber european in house league? Btw, computers don’t count as “not playing pubs”. Anyways, I’m still argueing the point that stats are a reasonable stat for pudge early game. Don’t know where everyone else got off too… Also, rushing hood is stupid.
