Koop that article is spot on. They blew it this season its so goofy now!
Regardless, I’m still entertained.
That’s why I cut Dana a lot of slack. She’s the one non-CIA character that seems to have some brains and common skills of deduction.
A lesser teenager would be on pills by now.
Saul did it!
They found a way to set a path for an interesting season 3
I enjoyed the season finale because that asshat David Estes is now ashes. He represents every bureaucratic, brown-nosing scumbag who only seeks to cover his own ass rather than do the right thing.
Quinn caught on to the bullshit and realized that none of his orders were for god ir country. My respect points rose tremendously.
This season was subpar and many of the eps were utter shit. Dexter was never trying to be a daringly realistic drama on serial killers so I never expected too much, but Homeland sought to be fairly bare bones about the CIA and its procedurals. It wasn’t until the almost perfect season 1 finale that it was making a slow descent.
As for the bombing, it seems like the writers are making it open ended so the can create a complex plot around Saul possibly being the culprit somehow. Sure the terrorists could’ve made multiple copies of Brody’s suicide statement, but there’s also the possibility of Saul being overwhelmed by the decades of bureaucracy and corruption wanting a clean slate.
Best moment this season: Carrie’s interrogation scene with Brody. Amazing acting by the duo.
Worst moment this season: The time where Roya was theoretically naked but were never shown. >:-|
Walking Dead s.3 >>>>>>>>>>>>> Homeland s.2
Never thought I’d ever say that.

Thought the finale was ok, but they just turned mext season into the fugitive. Tommy Lee Jones and wesley snipes for us marshalls hunting down brody. Wonder what johnny quinn does next season
Carrie’s erratic and impulsive behavior had to bite her in the ass some time
Now saul is head of cia, how he going to run shit?
So I finally got around to watching it. I finished both seasons in like 3 days
it’s definitely not anywhere near Breaking Bad tier, but it’s still in the top 10 best shows on TV now. Yeah it’s very going ho Murrika fuck yeah! Like 24 and the Hezbollah partnership was retarded, but at the end of the day it’s on wif the most entertaining and addictive shows I’ve seen in years and that’s what matters.
I guess I’m the only one who though Seasin 2 was wayyyy better than 1. It really went up a notch didn’t it? It should be obvious that Brody is still a terrorist, if only because it is way too emotionally compelling of a character arc for him not to be, so much juicy material to be mined from Carrie’s realization that she was duped into helping Nazir’s replacement. If Brody really didn’t know about the bomb that would an artistic misfire for an otherwise GDLK show.
Also I love how everyone even our fellow mod is saying fuck you to spoiler tags
I think Brody will always be a terrorist, but I dont think he did the SUV bomb. I speculate that he had something else cooking that just got derailed majorly.
Heh… since we are spitballing random what-if’s and other things just to twist things up… have Jess be the culprit (she had access to his keys and probably the old bomb vest, was still wanting Mike, needed Carrie and Brody out of the way… didnt know who all was involved, etc etc — or for that matter… Maybe Dana did it… she sure looked surprised to see the tape LOL)… and then someone with the Brody tape (aka Saul) just capitalizes on dumb luck out of a paternal effort for Carrie’s protection.
Ep1 of the new season has leaked. Heard its just ok. I dont think brody is in this season much which would make it about how the people around him deal with his fallout which doesn’t sound too exciting at all.
Saw the season premiere, it was good from a general good show perspective, but considering the utter derailment that was season 3, it felt empty.
lol Everyone wants the CIA’s head on a platter.
We got a lot of crazy face.
Black Ops guy even though he has fully recovered is looking frail, hesitating a lot, I thought was gonna get killed off this ep.
lol is that Zach from Dexter?
yeah, he was also in episode 2 of the newest season of Hell on Wheels. that kid keeps popping up in the shows i watch.
and getting peaced the hell out
lol I forgot to mention him. It’d be funny if he died on this show as well, he must have some special deal with Showtime.
@Rock yeah I mean season 2.
Just caught the season premiere. I hope future episodes pick of the pace a bit. Nice to see that Carrie hasn’t changed her whorish ways.
Brody’s daughter could get it
Clare Danes character needs to get killed off, seasons 1 and 2 were pretty damn immense but now her weary ass over acting “omagawd its so unfair!” bullshit is wearing thin. Also lol at the depiction of Caracas, ive been there it aint shit all like that
you know she’s paranoid and she fucks a bunch of dudes. makes sense
also she’s nasty for just leaving them in there. “oh, here’s my drawer full things i pissed on.”
Episode 4’s revelation, I honestly did not see that coming. I must say “Cheers” for that twist. Overall the season is actually seems to be going back to its season 1 roots, and last night’s ep was quite brutal… damn.
