I’ve been messing around with MvC2 in Practice Mode and just testing out characters and finding combos…
Stupid Magneto combos are screwing with me.
cr.lk - cr.fp - hyper grab xx tempest - cr.lk - cr.fk - hyber grab xx tempest - (repeat combo if opponent not dead)
Been trying to get that forever, for some I’ve gotten it once while messing around, then realized it’s a good combo and then I can’t get it. It always messes up where the slide seems to randomly juggle the character in a different direction everytime, so I don’t know which way to perform the Hyper Grab and always end up getting stupid useless Force Field…
Any tips? :annoy:
Actually there are better combos you want to do… like if you’re going to just straight-up launch them with c.hp, you can do j.hp, airdash down/forward, j.hp, j.hk, land, c.hk… you get a bazillion-way mixup after this and if they get it wrong the damage from the followup combo will kill that character.
There’s also this thing:
launch, j.hk, airdash down/forward, j.lk, j.mk
Then when you land you have a grip of options like first hit of HK into Shockwave (corners them), land and do the rom infinite, go for a reset, whatever…
Do you know how to relaunch off of Psylocke assist?
I think you can mash out of that combo you posted.
