Andrew Kreisberg, the showrunner and producer of the Arrowverse shows has been suspended by WB for being accused for sexual harassment.
…yep, that’s all people have to do to destroy you these days…just toss out an accusation. Whether it’s true or not is irrelevant…the damage is immediately done, and it all fits since everything is harassment as long as a woman that doesn’t like you says so. If you open a door for her at work and smile then that might be “harassment” too in the new era. (but if you look like Dwayne The Rock Johnson, she’s probably ok with him committing the great sin of speaking and making eye contact or anything else.)
The funny thing is that we’re not even allowed to question any of it either…so there can never be actual reasonable, fair discussion about anything pertaining to this topic. Anyone that even begins to point out the silliness is shouted down or instantly demonized as if they showed up in public with a “Hitler was right!” t-shirt. Whatever the case, I’m just entertained and watching the insanity from the sidelines… I want to see where the crazy train ultimately goes with all this. MJ popcorn gif
I’m still waiting for one of the accused to sue their accusers for defamation. Among this sea of accusations a couple are bound to be false.
To be fair, that article says dude had an apparent pattern that included sexual harassment of 15 women and 4 men. I doubt it’s just one accusation.
To get back to Louis C.K. though, I’m finding myself already ready to just forgive. I’m biased, but his apology (regardless of timing) seemed sincere and his acts are nowhere near a Cosby level. I’m just hoping he doesn’t Jon Jones it and go back to asking women to beat off in front of them though. That dude needs therapy and a chaperone everywhere now.

All it takes is one person falsely claiming an allegation and getting rightfully sued for libel and defamation to set this entire movement backwards. Or suddenly finding themselves embroiled in a court battle where they have to prove things of this nature happened and suddenly finding out that court is expensive and later retracting their statement or story.
Then it’s going to force people to either provide evidence, or hope whoever it is is man or woman enough to silently admit (By not refuting, or putting out a statement saying “Yeah, I probably did it, but I didn’t know that’s what I was doing. Honest”) it.
Yeah; as much as I want this movement to keep happening and the abusers of power to be outed, those people that turn the tide are coming.
I’m waiting on that day where an accuser is proven to be a liar, or an actress is caught trying to extort a producer into giving her a part through threat of making a false sexual harassment claim. That will be a shitstorm.
My concern is that the years public levity shown towards those who have accused well-respected people in power of harassment is going to go in the opposite extreme where any perceived slight is met with exaggerated reaction and a pent up victim mentality, due to the current climate. Humans have a hard time going to center and seem to instinctively jump from one extreme to another.
Makes me wonder how it’s like on college campuses these days?
I’d say with how biased college campuses are in favor of women these days (not just socially, but significantly more financially as well)…the ratio of women to men is about 7:3
And it’s gradually shifting to an even further extreme of 8:2.
And the shift started happening drastically when an innocent dude got expelled from college for a false rape charge by a female who felt slighted and was mentally unhinged enough to say it was “performance art” and won an award for blatantly lying (of course she backtracked and said it “seemed like one [a rape]” after she got caught in her lie and was celebrated by feminism in it’s entirety.
Now that society (after numerous cases of letting women get away with blatant lying and destroying lives with no consequences, including that most prominent one) is starting to crack down on false rape charges on campus, but it’s is entirely too late to put that genie back in the bottle.
That and with the prominence of the internet more and more young men (the generation below me, I’m only 24) are finding out that it’d be better off for them to just get a trade. Something I wholeheartedly agree with.
I know after the whole kerfuffle at Mizzou their student enrollment dropped by 35% and still continues to plummet it seems slowly but surely people are getting tired of the whole sjw infestation in campuses, but it might be too little too late.
