Keeping it in the spotlight isn’t doing her any favors. She looks worse the longer it drags on. She destroyed his reputation, seemingly unjustifiably. He has nothing to lose at this point. If she had never written that OP Ed, he would have let her slide on her shenanigans. She did this to herself.

She could have had one too if she just chose to be an adult and admit to her being at fault. Each day it drags out, just displays her being more mentally unstable, more hostile, more childish, and yet she’ll still get work. This is one of the few women that deserves a trip down the stairs.
