I get what you’re saying. False flags are bullshit and men need to be weary but like…women have been victimized for fucking ages. They deserve to be heard. Don’t let the bad and misguided ones ruin a powerful and empowering movement

I’d love to change my stance on #MeToo, it started out as some great thing for justice, but now its so distorted and unrecognizable. It was made to protect women from predators, but now its been weaponized
It USED to be a powerful righteous movement, but not anymore. Its still powerful, but the righteous part is pretty much dead except for a few. Hope it can go back to what it originally was, but I wont hold my breath

The issue is blinding believing someone based on their gender. There needs to be due process. Too many times people have their careers ruined without the most cursory investigation. Even when an allegation is false. There is rarely any true admission by the general public of a mistake. It’s always “most allegations true” which has nothing to do with owning up to your mistake and taking the L.

God knows they got fucked up, moving forwards in life.
My nephews wanted to get into acting and my brother went far to get them in but never told me why as I was younger then why he suddenly stopped…
Probably not relevant but that memory came back to me.
I have an ex who was sexy af, easily a 9, great in bed, etc. But I used to spend hours collectively editing and rewording my text messages to her because if I worded something wrong, she’d flip out and we’d be fighting about bullshit for days. She later got diagnosed as a borderline personality (which I knew when I was with her.)
I learned a lot from her and from the relationship, but that’s like a second job with little pay at that point and I don’t have the time or the temperament for that shit anymore.

Wow this is complete surprise. I hope it’s not true or at the very least exaggerated like with Chris Hardwick, but even if the allegations are false his career is going to take a massive hit.
The guy is actually very talented and seems like an actor that truly works on his craft. I liked him in Mudbound and The Chi, which will seem like a nonsensical show with him gone as he ties all the character interactions together. They definitely can’t “Aunt Viv” him next season either.
If your management company/agents are dropping you…something serious happened.
UTA would definitely do their due diligence and look into allegations.
After reading more about it seems there is definitely a pattern to his behavior. Fellow actors on the Netflix show he was slated to costar in were also complaining about him as well. Dude needs help…
