I though that was in Canada and not Japan.
Matt Lauer's ouster creates problems for NBC leadership, and future of 'Today'...
Matt Lauer has been terminated for "inappropriate workplace behavior."

Another one bites the dust.
Iâm waiting for at least 1 of these guys to fight back on this shit. It looks even worse when you just roll over and accept itâŚbasically confirming whatever was said about you.
*random irrelevant sidenote-- it always slightly irked me that Matt was one of those guys that crossed his legs in the âwomanlyâ way on television. Apparently this is some sort of rule for guys on tv, I hearâŚbut it looks sooo damn fruity, man. I donât even see how thatâs comfortable if your junk down there is of reasonable size, seriously. Sheeeeit, I remember Adam and Jimmy didnât give a fuck and always sat like real men on The Man Show back when it was on.
I mean elmo got into some ish
More than just Hollywood now. Itâs in all entertainment industries, political world, and in the world of the rich and famousâŚ

basically if ur rich and powrful u think u can do wahtever the fk u want without any consequences.
Actually it is more like âif u can do wahtever the fk u want without any consequencesâ, you wind up rich and powerful, in this world.
The fundamental values of this culture, and what they reward, and respect, beget sociopaths attaining to positions of power.
Yup we live in world where sociopathic behavior is rewarded, just as long as you werenât born in the lower rungs of society or have some higher connections to help you climb the social ladder.
You think these titans of industry got there playing fair or being nice? They got there by doing the things most people would at least second guess, and sometimes that pause is enough for one person to triumph and the other to lose out. The success only further feeds this behavior until only the monsters and strong and lucky âpretendersâ remain.
Once they reach a certain point of success they then mask their wrongdoings with tax write-offs charitable donations, under-the-table payoffs, supporting political correctness trends, and displaying blindingly superficial charm at press events.
Iâm sure many of you can already think of a few famous and influential people who display these behaviors.

I mean that trump access hollywood tape is the mentality
And that fuckhead is president
Goddamn. People dropping like flies. Iâd change the title of the thread, but âThe Everybody-in-the-Fucking-World sexual harassment threadâ doesnât have the same ring to it.
I would have thought for sure at least ONE case of an actress lying about an assault or trying to extort someone and getting caught would be unearthed by now and would hurt this movement. Not that I wanted that; I just assumed it would happen. Itâs still going strong.
But how bad did Russ fuck up that he had to step away from his companies? Plural. Like, you canât be associated with anything? Damn.
Whoa, Nellie.
LOL is that for real? Did he think we forgot?

Thing is, if they know they did it, fighting it only makes them look worse. At this rate, if they do their mea culpas, in a couple years they can be back doing whatever it was they were doing before these allegations popped up.
