claire is also the shampoo girl during the commercials.
anways, back to the story line.
first thing that popped in my mind was the mind eraser didn’t do anything to the cop, he was just gone for 1 whole day. mind plant could be the only answer, we will find out i guess.
it looks like patrelli already knows his full potential of flying, like he is the only hero that has mastered his power. btw, that whole scene with him and hiro was so funny. “up up and away” “VOTE PATRELLI!!!”
the painting that patrelli jr. finished showed claire DEAD, and if sylar is the big black shadow, then patrelli jr = syler goes out the door. also, patrelli jr. isnt an alter boy
i believe micha (nikkis son) has powers also, but i cant figure out what they are. i think it has something that ties to his mothers duplicate form.
the only question i have is…
is the guy that can go throw walls = the mind eraser guy = nikkis husband? all 3 are the same black guy?
LOL, gay partner.
Glad I am not the only one that thought there was something slight homo about them. He always refered to him as his “friend”, kind of like having a gay uncle that comes to every thanksgiving with his friend.
on a side note: isn’t that micah kid really a boy genius? okay, that’s stretching it, but i remember seeing on TV he has the uncanny abillity (when he was younger than he already is by the way) to hear a piano piece and replicate it right after. his dad plays in an orchestra or something and micah just picked it up listening to his father play. i thought that was pretty cool.
anyways, i really like this series and i can’t wait 'till next monday. one odd thing that i don’t really get is nathan’s powers. from the last episode we know he’s pretty advanced. he had no trouble… launching, i guess is the right word. and he seemed to easily break the sound barrier, showing how developed his powers are. but he was unable to carry his brother when peter jumped off the building? seems odd to me. the only thing i can think of is peter’s powers really are like x-men’s rogue’s powers and he kind of sapped nathan’s ability from him. but that would really suck in my opinion. then that would mean everybody’s there to give peter all their powers. in that case, eventually the show should be called HERO instead of HEROES.
But he can only use their powers when near him, so unless he ties them all into a giant ball of duct tape and carries them around with him, the show will continue to be Heroes.
That was when Nathan first got his powers, or at least first knew about them. And if he caught Peter messed up, then it makes sense that Nathan could have lost his grip/balance.
Has this been proven 100% yet? I swear that Peter touched Isaac back when he was Od’ing… then later was able to draw a stick picture that came true without Isaac being around. I may be off a bit, but I still think that once Peter touches someone with powers, he takes that ability with him…but those powers get heightened when around the giver of the ability.
Yeah, i’m not sure if Nathan had practiced his flying or not. Obviously that sonic boom would make it seem like he had, but he looked like he had no idea how to land.
are you so sure that’s when nathan first realized his powers? to be honest, i don’t remember the dialogue between nathan and peter when he first flew on the show. i was lead to believe nathan just said he can’t fly. nathan is ashamed of his powers and hid them from everybody. but he has been fully aware of his powers and what he can do with them. now if nathan first learned of his powers in the first episode, then he really progressed insanely fast. or, he flew so well the last episode because he was scared shitless and can’t control his ability at will yet.
Future Hiro looked fuckin’ pimp with his nodachi over the back and shit. Too bad about Peter though, by the way Hiro said “you look different without your scar”, that means he’s gonna get rushed down something fierce.
On a side note, Claire (Hayden Panettiere, or “Kairi” as I often refer to her) looks absolutely amazing these days. :wow: Girl grew up quite nicely, I’d say. And it was quite funny to see her ram that asshat’s car into a wall…with him in it.
Nathan has flown since the first episode. In the comic, he flew to save a woman out of a burning building. Also in times of desperation like he was in, that adrenaline can make a person tap into greater potential.
