Two things I noticed in tonight’s ep. Whore mom seems to get stronger when she changes personas. It seems like XCOPY has a resistence to other powers. Future Hiro’s time freeze didn’t work on him.
I wonder if XCOPY has the ability to kill the cheerleader.
Um… That’s her whole power.
And as FurryCurry mentioned, its because when Hiro is there, he has Hiro’s power, so he’s immune to Time Freeze.
Anyone notice that Nikki’s tattoo disappears when she’s normal?
And as for her being Sylar, don’t think so, she doesn’t have a guy voice (remember the voice mails to the professor, and the guy that attacked the little girl?)
lol, i think its just you on both acounts. The tatoo on her back it looked to me was the same symbol on the black dude’s necklass, as well as several other places somewhat hidden throughout the show. Still no clue what it is exactly though.

Turns out cheerleader really did ram that car into a wall and it wasn’t a dream/fantasy. Dude deserved it though, not only was he a serial rapist scumbag, but he was also on his way to becoming a serial killer the way he ditched Claire’s body and went back to school like nothing happened.
I was sorta kinda right about time being frozen on the subway, but I also said it was more than likely a dream or some sort of psychic communication. Why was everything tinted blue? I wonder if Peter’s sync abilities kept him from being frozen or if future Hiro’s time control abilities have evolved into god like levels
I was kinda let down with Niki’s power. I was hoping her eyes would turn black or something when she became Ikin (great name, btw) or maybe she grew talons or something judging by the way those goons were torn apart in her garage, but as my sister put it, "she just becomes some crazy ass stronger than usual ho."
My sis also thinks that Ikin is actually the default personality and Niki emerged after her son was born. She also thinks that Ikin, like the mysterious black dude is part of evil stepdaddy’s brotherhood of evil mutants. Interesting theory.
My theory of Ikin being the criminal mastermind has yet to be debunked… yet.:bluu:

Poor Hiro getting KTFOed while making a girly whimper. Too funny! Also, why doesn’t he get his ENGLISH speaking friend to leave a message on Issac’s machine instead of babbling on in japanese??? Sheesh.
My sis STILL thinks that chick hanging out with the Indian dude is Sylar or at least connected to him somehow… I don’t know about that.

Hiro is doing all this crap, like not teleporting around and not using time to find clues on what to do next because he’s using the comic book which lays out his quest. Sadly, they didn’t show him flipping through the comic to find a panel with him cheating like a mad man in the Casino.
Pixie, as she is called on the Television Without Pity forums, is annoying as fuck. I really hope she’s pure evil because that’s the only way to justify her being here. Seems like with each episode she becomes a little more nonchalant about what’s going on. I really do like Mohinder alone. And now that he’s off his happy-go-lucky-follow-my-daddy’s-work trip, he could probably act in some better scenes.
Since the tatt of the ‘f’ was on Ikin and the camera bloody stayed there for awhile it must be that after the Black Dude mind wipes or brain washes you (like he’s doing to our psy cop) that you get branded with that symbol that only turns on when your powers are in use. I’m disappointed that it is so blatent now though. They could have done some Lost style shit and pull it out of their asses next season.
Symbol was also scribbled on the side of Cheerleader’s book that she pulled out of her locker back in ep 2 or 3.
And the comic book ended last episode-- Hiro and Ando are doing things on their own now.

The comic book he had ended with them renting the Nissan Versa and heading off to Las Vegas, so he doesn’t have the benefit of knowing exactly what happens next.
Of course he could just go into the future himself.
I fucking love this show. The past two episodes, the ending had me yelling “OH SNAP!!!”
monday night is my new favorite night of the work week(sunday has football, it wins everytime). heroes and studio 60 make me actually look forward to monadys again. my only concern is when hiro and jack bauer go head to head starting jan 14…

By the way, watching the newest episode again (thank you torrents!) and date raper’s scream before he hits the wall is priceless!

While that is entirely possible, I do not believe that is what that scene was portraying. I’m going with future Hiro being able to control his powers well enough that since he went there specifically to see Peter, that he froze time for everyone EXCEPT peter. Peter himself had nothing to do with it, neither consciously or subconsciously.
I’ll admit upon first seeing that scene I thought many different things before we actually saw future-Hiro.
At first I thought present-day Hiro was on the subway somehow with him and he accidentally tapped into his power and froze time. Then I thought something similar to the rest of you, where Hiro froze time in the vicinity and Peter was just kinda like WTF and therefore telling us that he is immune to Hiro’s powers, therefore by extension I assumed all people with abilities would be immune to Hiro’s powers - which would completely unbreak Hiro. Then when future Hiro showed up, it was pretty clear to me that Hiro himself did all of that and specifically didn’t freeze Peter so that he could talk to him in private.
I didn’t realize whore mom also got super strength when she changed forms. This was the first time it was shown that xcopy is immune to other people’s manipulation powers. I would think he isn’t immune to someone like whore mom though.
yeah. I have to agree with Lightning Storm on the Future Hiro business. Future Hiro has probably developed his time/space continuum manipulation ability to such an extent that he can actually choose who will be frozen and who will not be. I wouldn’t say that Peter is immune to time manipulation. He was only immune cause future hiro allowed him to be immune.
i’m on the boat that hiro has advanced his powers so much that he can actively choose who is frozen and who isn’t, peter wouldn’t even be able to know how to control it if it did happen. i don’t think its an immunity thing, but thats all speculation right now anyways…
So…
Exactly who found Pixie at the party (since noonee else other than Raper boy knew), who brought her to the hospital, and why exactly did they cut into her so deeply (I mean cutting her entire chest cavity open is a bit much when its quite obvious what the cause of death was)? Also, someone clue me in if I’m wrong, but was there any blood on the branch after it was pulled out and placed into that metal bowl?

Xcopy would be broken as hell if he did have immunity though.
Anyone have any theories as to what power that black guy has? Two theories I have are:

He doesn’t have any powers and actually has a way to steal powers from others.

He has the same powers as xcopy, but figured out a way to permanently keep the powers he copies.
I think black guy doesn’t actually have any powers himself… but can nullify other peoples powers.
As far as copying and permanently keeping powers he copies… I think that falls more under Sylar’s category, and I don’t think the black guy is Sylar. I think Sylar eats the brains of other specials and by doing so he is able to get their power permanently. I’m guessing that the girl that Matt was protecting is also a special.
i believe his power is much like leech in x3, but controlled…he can block people from using their powers, which would be how claire could become vunerable. he doesn’t straight out block powers though, it takes effort, because the cop was able to read glasses mind about claire. glasses said “your power is stronger than we thought” or something like that which leads me to believe its a power the black guy has to use and can be overpowered…
