I would say yes. Because while the term “illusion” lends us to believe it’s a visual illusion, I believe it’s more powerful than that. It’s more of a mental illusion. It affects all of your senses. Sight, touch, smell, even taste and hearing. Think an illusion of perception instead of just what you see. Her power could be so strong that you could be eating diarrhea soup and she makes you think it’s strawberry ice cream.
candice’s illusions can interact with people. she created the illusion maze for micah so he couldn’t escape. She hugged Linderman and got a kiss when he arrived. I’m pretty sure she held Micah’s hand at one point in time as Jess/Nikki. She also punched and kicked Jess/Nikki, so yes, people can interact with her illusions.
edit, she also pretended to be that fat black chick in order to get into the voting booth while holding on to micah.

The fact that we didn’t see that can only mean that she didn’t get knocked out by niki and chose to release micah on her own accord.

talking to machines is pretty crazy to me…and right now cloest to a franklin richards type character.
we all assume she was a fat hideous blob…but just cause she got “knocked out” doesn’t mean this isn’t her true form we see. Especially when she talked about linderman healing her…i figured he might have just made her skinny permanently or adjusted her body on a permenant basis to make her a hottie.
They need to put their heads together and write something plausable then

Linderman healing Candace seems plausible, and I still don’t think he’s dead.
I think I figured out their writing formula. They set up a bunch of random junk, makes the viewer decide, and tries to do the exact opposite by making up stuff as they go along.
I gave up on the “hype” after the first Sylar v. Peter “battle” After that I realized the show was never going to be that cool.
BTW can someone tell me about this Uluru character? I alwasys assumed the monster painting was Linderman’s true form but I guess I was wrong.
Yay! one of my predictions was right. I knew Nate would go and do some “sacrificial” flying maneuver since in the beginning of the series.
And I’m 99% certain mama Petrelli has the power Peter used- like I predicted since day one.
I’m going to posit the theory that Candice was always hot but accidentally created the illusion that she was some ugly slob in the past due to low self-esteem. That, or she got surgery before she found out about her ability. Or maybe the writers fucked up.
I’m banking on the third one.
If she was a more prominant character i’d say it was what you first said and that’d be a great twist. Sadly i agree it’s probably the third one as well lol. Hopefully after their rookie season and so many complaining on obvious mistakes they’ll get it right next season. I got my fingers crossed though.
