fantasy world…did u forget this is japan we’re talking about ,the emoest character in the series that isnt named mashiba. of course he’s gonna win. japan loves their emo pretty boys. unlike here where they base characters looks on the character its reverse…they base the character on the character design. which is honestly a weird concept.
Vorg was way more emo than Sendo and Sendo won that fight. Anything could happen here, although I also think Miyata’s going to win.
meant in terms of main characters. vorg was never gonna be a main character.
this ain’t naruto. but you got a point there. i got a feeling takamura won’t lose either. maybe miyata will win, but takamura will get his winning streak going.
and they are in a fantasy world. so the author might pull a surprise upset on us. RBJ winning will give us an ippo - RBJ fight, which sounds good. and i doubt we’ll see ippo fighting the love of his life soon.

its not a naruto thing but an anime thing…emo chracters have been fangirls dreams for years. ippo has a big girl fanbase though its clear that wasnt the authors intention. the author cant really do surprises like that without approval in japan. its not like here where they can really fuck with you. but in japan if they think it will fuck up the girl fanbase they wont go with it.

he pointed out several times that his style flawed. miyata is just to proud to admit it. that’s why miyata sr. trained with him uppercuts. miyatas style is to straight forward and predictable to compete at world stage. sendo pointed that already out in their spar.
there will come the point in this fight where miyata is forced to let go his fathers style and devolpe his own. the whole point of this fight is to show us that.
but sendo also said this without realizing what other tools miyata had. he hid alot from sendo which made sendo shut the fuck up…cause u know sendo…he talks out his ass.
no. sendo had a point. he is to predictable with his punches. what miyata didn’t show sendo was his footwork and his speed. as incredible as those traits are at world stage this is still not enough and rbj will show us exactly that.
I personally do not look forward to this considering that this manga is hajime no ippo and not hajime no miyata.
Wrap up miyata already, then lets get back to ippo or some of the other characters that need an update.
heh, miyata is definitely not the most popular character. morikawa likes to see this a bit different though.
