I’m looking forward to a long and epic fight. However, a part of me wishes that this turned out to be a surprisingly short fight. I think it’s good to mix up long and short fights so there’s some unpredictability.

Edit: Does anyone else always wonder what Ricardo Martinez would do in a fight? After seeing him decimate Date and Ippo, whenever there’s a fight I think, “how would Ricardo Martinez beat this guy?”

Get this: he does ask her out, but she was drunk and passed out when he finally asked. :looney: That part is shown in the anime.
There was a more recent chapter where Ippo almost kissed Kumi but got interrputed by Wanpo.

Word. I swear to god I hate getting left “Oh, hey, the match is gonna begin.” and it doesn’t, they meet for an interview or some shit, then next issue “Hey match time now…maybe?” and I’m left waiting again. I want to wait so I’m not stuck in suspense but I can’t help it. Lol.
