Iām hoping to see a match with Sendo in general.
Miyata vs. Sendo would be my preference. That way we can see Miyata risk his career to a really powerful boxer, and we also get a taste to see how far Sendo has progressed as a boxer. On top of that, weād also get a chance to see the outboxer vs. infighter match up. It would almost be the same as seeing Ippo vs. Miyata, except the Jolt vs. the Smash would be pretty freaking epic.
I donāt know man, they have been slow, but I think its due to the fact that we now get to see Itagakiās family. If I remember correctly they like to use puns alot which may slow down the translators a little. They may not want for the viewer to go āWTF are they laughing at?

also, aside from the Sawamura fight, I thought the fight with Shimambukuro(spelling butchered) was pretty badass.

Also, Iām probably the only person who thinks all of sendoās fights are āmehā. I just donāt think heās a real stand out character. Not to say I donāt like him, but I didnāt exactly look forward to his fights. I honestly would love a Mashiba/Kimura rematch, thats the closest Iāve ever came to shedding a tear over a manga, I was choked up, nothings topped that for me since, shot them both up serious ranks on my favorites list.
I donāt think it will be quite as epic with the new Mashiba. I think his development as a morally driven ācleanā boxer is the focus now. Kimuraās OVA was great, but as far as a rematch is concerned, I donāt see it happening.

season went out nicely. ippo/miyata rivalry, aoki jokes, we got a glimpse of shimabukuro, and a nice training montage at the end which made me a bit melancholic.
