Yeah it’s possible. I’ve done a few featherweight(me) vs jr lightweight and had no problem winning. I haven’t done the reverse so I couldn’t give a definite answer to that question.
I wish this series was more popular so they would add an online mode in future games(if they plan to make any). I wanna see how good I am against human competition.
puar the head of I-O has some personal problems he has to deal first. (water line broke in his house) but good news is that he told me the last two chapters are going to be posted soon. have a little more patience
ep 18 was wonderful. takamura is true inspiration.
Depends on the game I’d think, and even then which character.
For instance, I play the PSP version (not sure of its exact title) and like any half decent featherweight that can withstand a few punches and hit decently can probably take on Mashiba if they’re good.
Sawamura on the other hand is frickin’ impossible sometimes, especially if your reach is less than his.
That’s more in the area of 44.8 lbs. If my conversion is correct, then Miyata and Takamura should move up like 3 weight classes instead of going through their ridiculous weight regimen for every fight.
those subs are terrible. so many tranlations mistakes X_X
takamura’s natural weight is 90kg. the limit for the jr. middle class is 68kg. it always depends on where you cut from and how sudden. for example losing 22 kg for a 100kg/1,90m guy should be much easier. body/bone structure is also an important factor. some people just cut weight much easier than others. in my opinion hni has it pretty much down althhough of course it uses the usual anime/manga exaggerations.
anyway the message this episode had is actually much more important than how demanding weight controll is. boxing is a tough sport and you have to make incredible sacrifices if you want to reach the top.
