just watched 3 speedstar eps in vlc, subs worked fine
Looks like 24 episodes are at least guaranteed now: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fighting_Spirit_(manga). They aren’t even going to skip a single week (cough bleach/naruto).
It would be so awesome if they could catch up to the manga though!
Wasn’t it mentioned before that it was going to go for 90 episodes? Or was this just a rumor?
Caught up to the latest ep of New Challenger and
New Challenger
Spoiler
Geromichi looks scarier than ever (and kinda badass). He grew quite a bit in skill these last few years, too.
It was rumored that it was going to last longer than the original series but nothing concrete.
in case you guys didn’t see, the latest episode is up on animeshippuuden:

Speedstar’s got Ep. 12 uploaded.
Haha
[details=Spoiler]
Gotta love Ippo focus attacking all of Hammer Nao’s punches.[/details]
Do boxers think that much during a fight? They seem to have a flashback and story for every punch they throw.
Thats very observant of you, which is a good thing because it helps me get over this manga’s current disappointment.
HnI’s been doing that for a long time now. It’s all for dramatic effect, but it works. They’re only used where they count.
you think that’s bad? try watching slamdunk. they dedicate an entire episode of flashback just for 1 shot.
Man I finally had some time to catch up to the manga and I must say what a good ass read and I personally am looking forward to watching Ippo vs Magician animated and Miyata vs Randy boy Jr.
i’m at 750 :bluu:
but I skipped the upchuck fight (and the next) so I can watch them instead.
I’ve never seen Slam Dunk, but did he miss the shot?
lol thank goodness no. what’s worse is when i watched that fucking episode it was on tv so there are commercials which prolonged the agony.
I’ve never fought in a match, but I’ve sparred before. Personally a lot of stuff runs through my head real quick that has to do with outboxing the guy. I’ll never think of flashbacks of my training or some traumatic event and throw out some super punch.
could be like a life flashes before your eyes thing and Ippo just so happens to think of his training instead since that’s his new life
slam dunk > this manga
You’re not gonna find out in that episode, because the shot is only completed in the **next **episode!
