did u all foget japanese anime is going through its own economy fustrations? The japanese industry has been on the low for a long whileā¦cutting back on new series/ box sets going for thin setsā¦did u all honestly think the animation wouldnt suffer?

A few of the other still running anime series seems to be animating the same. Maybe Madhouse just decided on a different, cheaper direction for this new āseasonā? Iām not really complaining, as the original series had more than enough recycled animation (not DBZ bad, but close).
At 90 episodes for this new season, you guys are really being picky. Shows that go that long usually have shitty animation here and there. You probably wonāt see high quality animation until Hawk vs Takamura. It was like that for the first series.
every companies different in cutting back terms. thin packs are an industry standard nowā¦i couldnt tell u what those other companies cut back but i bet u if u asked madhouse people why the animation is different i bet its cause of the bootlegging/we need american money issue.

Funi is actually doing a lot better with anime these days than back then. Their subtitles need work(in regards to actual letter size), but theyāre definitely the second best distributor in America behind Bandai Entertainment.
i didnt mean specifcally for that animeā¦but basically japanese anime companies have said that the japanese anime industry lives off the american population now. they are really one industry nowā¦so if say anime suddenly dies out in americaā¦it dies out in japan too. we are linked in what happens.
I admit I havenāt been watching too much dubbed anime lately. After hearing scripts of animes I love get dummed down to 5th grade levels for so long I just went subbed only and never went back.

I donāt watch dubbed anime, but Funi does deliver still. Good packaging and whatnot. I trust them more than ever with a lot of titles than I did back in 2000. They also keep in the original intros with kanji/katakana in them(have to press the angle button on your DVD remote to switch between that and English).
After watching Ep. 4, I canāt wait for episode 5. Ep. 4 reminded me how broken the Heartbreak Shot was. :looney:

Why all the Miyata hate? It would be really lame if he were to lose to RBJ and break his promise again. I wanna see him and Ippo go at it on the world stage. If he loses then Ippo gotta take out randy boy. So Iām hoping he has a comeback in him.
