people need to stop bitching about spoilers. everything that is happening in the anime has already been discussed in this thread because it existed when there were absolutely no talks of a second season and the manga was all that was around.

Yes yes they should because NOT everyone went to read the manga. It’s a simple request out of respect of everyone else. Don’t auto assume everyone will go read the manga.
This reminds me of the time I was in line to get tickets for some movie and the people behind me were talking about watching “Titanic” with Kate Winslet and Leo Dicaprio. We got to talking and I said, “The only reason I would watch that movie is to see the ship sink.” One of the guy yells, “Aw man, it sinks?! You fucking ruined the movie for me!”

people have been using this thread to discuss the manga before there were even talks about the second season of the anime. to expect this thread to now be centered around the anime instead of the manga is ridiculous. I mean there have been rumors that the second season is supposed to go on for like 70-90 something episodes. you really expect people that have kept up with the manga to only post with spoiler tags for a year and a half? absurd.
Yeah, the Naruto thread talks about the latest manga plot all the time. I personally only watch the anime, so even before I first poked my head in there I knew spoilers were possible. I didn’t even click on the Metal Gear Solid 4 thread until after I beat the game.

but what does 1 day after air even mean in this case? after the japanese air date? after the raw is released? after there is one translation? until someone’s favorite group releases their translation? what about those that are just following hte manga and don’t even watch the anime and they want to discuss something in the manga. this is all ridiculous and you shouldn’t ask people to start tip toe’ing about stuff that has already been open to discussion because it happened years ago. this thread was about the manga and it should continue to be focused on the manga.

not necessarily. the animation of the old series was like challenger untill around ep. 50. i would even say challenger is more cinematic and you have the hd quality as well. most of the people have still the strong impression of the latest fights in the old series, that’s why they think the old series locked better. wait untill the big battles of the new series are over, than judge.
and i agree with monte. if you are going strongly by the rules, you would have to give everyone in the naruto thread an infraction first.
There seems to be more recycling of animation with the new series, but I’m getting used to the slightly new style. Got to love that widescreen HD quality too!
