Chapter is dumb, dude is apparently fighting on survival and isn’t moving even though it was just established ippo works him on speed/strength. So instead of cornering him and killing him Ippo loses ability to fight.

It seems like that fiery landfill in Guevara’s hometown might end up being his funeral pyre.
if ippo can’t defeat this chump without using the new dempsey then he deserves to lose. Thing is, he should be able to. But there is too much hype surrounding his new dempsey roll that you all want him busting it out on worthless opponents. Let him bust that out on an actual world ranker.
I want Ippo to connect with the set up for the new Dempsey roll, and just before he can bring it out, Guevara crumples. Then Ippo is just disappointed that he didn’t get to murder a man in the ring.

A healthy Togashi is right up there IMO. Though that might be the stan in me.
Togashi has done too much damage to his reputation for me to consider him great anymore.
Same with lazy ass Kubo and Kishimoto. Them dudes started off with mad potential, and just started phoning shit in after a certain point.
