Not true at all. Wildly swinging his fists like a buffoon against someone who hits just as hard as he does and completely eschewing any type of strategy during Metzli mode is why Alf almost lost the fight.
Other fighters in the series who use bloodlust and instinctual savagery have a method to their violent style, see Martinez and Takamura as the gold standard. Even Sendo uses his savage instincts tactically instead of just operating off of being pissed off(which is basically all Metzli mode was, kindof disappointing actually).
Did you ever play the GBA HnI? I liked that game quite a bit, I wish it had gotten a translation. I wonder if I can find the OST anywhere, itâs GBA music but I liked quite a few of the themes, especially Volgâs iirc. The best I can find on youtube is a volg vs volg fight with the theme, but not in good quality.
I thought Ippo was top because of liver blow and all the red damage it did. Miyata was pretty good too because of the Jolt Counter being an instant KO iirc.
I liked using Volg the most because he had the smoothest style and was the most fun to combo with. But it was just a fun game all around iirc. Itâs been a long time since I played it.
If this new game is like it, I will probably play it, but I could not tell from that video.
