Japan can’t get enough of those stupid machines, between that and Pachinko I just don’t get it. Then again, I don’t get that whole country sometimes.
:bluu: figures… I saw an awesome pic of The Champ (King) on deviantart and it directed me to the vid. Got me all hyped for another Takamura match.
Fuck that, I love Itagaki. WIN EVERY MATCH ITAGAKI.
Even though Itagaki won, the whole chapter was depressing. You see Saeki wanting to win desperately because he’s about to lose everything that made him a boxer. Even his hair is undone; when someone’s hair gets undone in manga, shit gets real.
I guess George is hinting that Ippo vs Itagaki is upcoming. Probably at the next champion carnival. Here’s hoping Itagaki get his face smashed in.
I was really hoping Itagaki would go into orochi mode when his hair became undone sort of like Takamura. Oh well…
Oh yes. I want to see Itagaki get murdered by Ippo. Let Ippo take out his frustrations on him for not getting his dream match. Maybe he’ll get Galactica Phantom’d.
 Nice. I hope he wins. Good to see Mashiba again, even if it’s just to complain. He made a good point, though.
Every time I see this thread update, I keep coming in here hoping for news about a new anime season. I really need to stop doing that. :bluu:
Poor Miyata. I will bet he will be sacrificed to make Itagaki look good.
Spoiler
I don’t want Aoki to lose this one, but it’s not looking good. It looks like some shenanigans are gonna happen in the next chapter.
Takamura powering up dat murderface. I want to see this motherfucker rush the ring on some Cesar Gracie dojo type shit.
Spoiler
Wow Aoki got absolutely massacred. Possibility of Kimura moving up or Takamura moving down for revenge?
Maybe Miyata? I know he moved up in weight, but am not sure if he is in Aoki’s class.
I can’t see Takamura moving down. He struggled enough to keep his weight down to get his two belts. It would be murder (maybe impossible?) to go down to Aoki’s class.
Even when he was killing himself to make weight for Hawk, he was still two or more weight classes above Aoki, I think? In any case yeah it’s not gonna be Takamura.
This chapter was pretty depressing.
Spoiler
I don’t know what Morikawa’s planning to do with Aokimura at this point. Could he retire both of them? There’s a pretty real message here: even if you work your ass off, there’s no guarantee that you will succeed. The coach said something to that effect in a much earlier chapter.
