Ughā¦ I started to read the latest chapter. As soon as I saw Itagaki landing some hits and the dude couldnāt hit Itagaki back, I just quit reading the chapter. I havenāt been this disgusted since that 10 chapter rape scene in Wolf Guy.

The main characterās woman gets kidnapped and is raped to provoke him into chasing after her( a trap). Instead of the rape being a panel or two(you fully grasp and understand whatās going and why) itās several panels spread over several chapters. It was so damn disgusting that it ruined the whole manga for me and I havenāt read it since. It was pure overkill for no reason. Iām feeling the same way about Ippo right now. Seeing Itagaki BS his way back against an opponent who had him shutdown nasty is repulsive. I guess this is what Bleach fans feel like.
Seriously, I think they should at least make it more ābelievableā, as BS that sounds in a manga. When Ippo fights and makes a comeback, you know itās within his limits because he is supposed to be a brawler with heavy punches and works towards finding any openings. He toughs it out and puts in the effort. With Itagaki, itās like he is getting beat fundamentally in every way, then suddenly he taps into the speed force, and any damage or anything that happened before that point is null and void because he is now godlike.
