Now I could see Ippo pulling a Sendo and beating him within an inch of his life. I hope this doesn’t boil down to another typical Ippo fight.
I see it breaking down in one of two ways:
1.) Ippo wrecks his shit and gets a decisive K.O.
2.)The far more likely course of events will have him off his game since he’s so fiercely loyal to his trainers. He will make 8 bajillion mistakes getting angrier and angrier(while possibly being taunted about how shitty his boxing teachers are) untill late in the 10th round he finally sees the light and realizes he shouldn’t fight angry and will pull a win out of his ass.
fuck that if he doesn’t ender’s game this fool i don’t even know… i think we all deserve a good thrashing via ippo.

I just want to see this guy react to getting hit by a clean punch by Ippo. He’s gonna talk all this shit during the match but the moment Ippo’s fist hits his liver/jaw/face, hes gonna pray for death and not another round of an ass whooping. The crowning moment of this chapter was when Ippo told everyone to ask Hisato about his power after the match.

Just read the mangastream chapter. He done FUCKED UP NOW. He could’ve said anything else in the world about Ippo or anybody else he knew except Kamogawa. Praise be to Allah, he’s gonna make orphans out of his children now.

I expect Ippo to operate rounds 1-4 while overclocked. his adrenalin will keep him up during the pain and he wont notice his wasting of stamina. The coach won’t see what’s really going on and will have to get Ippo to fight without him in later rounds. however ippo will get 2 good trades in early rounds be fore the rope-a-dope factor kicks in.
You can’t beat someone that you admire. That’s why Hisato’s going to get fucked up real quick.
