Any tips against Teleporters other then option select elbow ? (which I can never do)

MK Tatsu or Run/slide option select if its Buson. Sim I’m pretty sure it has to be Hozanto unless he teleports behind you then its just HK tatsu or EX tatsu, Though IM sure MK tatsu may work.

yep…and if you are not expecting something then I believe it takes about 30 frames to react. That’s why you see some people not punish jump ins when it looks like they had time. They weren’t looking for it. There’s a good article on srk about reactions. When you have enough game knowledge, you put better use of your focus cause you know what your opponent will most likely do in a certain situation so you can react better to it.

“Still thinks it’s possible”

Run/Slide yeah, MK Tatsu no. If Bison does teleport back just do hp. hoz. I like using hozanto cause if you have a full super meter, give him hozanto + super…also it is easier to get bison to the corner.

mk tatsu beats all teleports, sissors, and crushers I think

Rison I know Hozanto works but he was asking what else works, which MK tatsu does work the last hit will connect. Granted not as great damage as say HP Hozanto/Super but still will hit, but Run/Slide would be better.

OS’ing bison is a bitch for most characters including Guy.You have to read what he does because one option beats teleport and the other loses to EX crusher and vice versa.

Thats why MK tatsu is a better OS against Bison, It’ll beat his EX crusher (depending on the timing) and catch his teleport. If you mistime it against Crusher you’ll just miss bison but still be safe.

Do non-EX tatsus have invincibility or not? I’ve had weird results using them as reversals.

Are mk/hk tatsu good AA or not?

mk.tatsu is the OS of choice vs. bison. But, you might not be able to block a devil’s reverse if he times it right.

LK has throw invinc. and lower invinc.

MK has Projectile and Lower

HK I don’t believe has anything useful aside from Throw but it doesn’t hit low and honestly it should have Upper body but I’m positive it doesn’t have any hit invincibility.

something i’ve wondered for a long time now is if the elbow from bunshin flip actually leaves guy at - frames, like the frame data says.

i’ve recorded guy doing bunshin flip into c.lp several times, or throw, and it seems that guy is able to counterhit or throw the enemy out of startup jab frames (3f) if timed perfectly. i’ve convinced myself that this move (lp or mp bunshin flip’s elbow) is in fact + on block, like +1 or 2… i dunno… anyone can enlighten me?

It is for sure not -ve…

Guy is atleast 0 after blocked bushin flip elbow(Coz hes surely not -1 , tried punishing with gief reversal ultra and it din work) …and its proly +1 or even more if the opponent crouching blocked it…

Wouldn’t the frame advantage depend on the height at which your opponent blocks the attack(like all jump attacks)?

Yea it does… but blocking a bushin flip high is not -ve tried with both gief and chun reversal ultra(1f moves) and it din punish…so am assuming its atleast 0… if they crouch you only get more frame advantage…

Is there any data on hitstun/blockstun on the move?.. would proly be easier to find out that way…

I bet if you do it on Hawk it’s a free spd for him.

No why would you do it on him… thats just asking for trouble lol…I have punished it with neutral jump punish sometimes though but its not worth the risk…since they press any button u normally get hit…

I wasn’t sure were to post this , but I noticed in training that any move done after a whiffed strong moves forward . Even throw. It has to be done with fastest possible timing .

To elaborate , if you stand just outside of say , S.RH range and hit mp>rh , the rh will connect . But if you just press mp , you don’t actually move forward . Only the follow up moves , and only when done immediately .

Not sure if this is useful , but its good to know I suppose.

st.mp kara stuff is pretty cool, i tried it to do kara throws but i think it adds an extra startup frame and doesnt give you much range so i stopped doing it. iono, anyone else use it?

and yea… you guys are right about the bunshin flip. and about the stand blocking vs bunshin flip to reduce frame advantage for guy, it only works on certain bunshin flip elbow setups like TC-> mp bunshin flip elbow. on something like c.lp-> st.mp-> lp bunshin flip elbow i think you are close enough to do the throw haha.
