nice matches, tyvm. yazu uses step kick very well. i really liked that akuma match towards the end, good crossup defense.
love yazu’s style of play. I noted that an option select is an empty jump followed by C LK into a string of choice. May not always work if opponents expect it but worth knowing
At 2:01, Yazu backthrows ryu into the corner, throws a super meaty boom, empty jumps, then trial 24’s that shit. C.lk > c.lk > c.lp > lk super > ultra. So friggin ill. I’ve never seen that combo landed in a real match.
I bet Yazu’s Super Guile is bananas.
Bananas indeed. I’v never seen a Guile react so quickly against Ryu’s pokes, blocking almost every single one. Ryu, a hard hitting Combo char, didn’t land a single 2+ hit combo the whole match. Talk about a brick wall.

Got stubborn in the first game and jumped into like 5 TU’s. Cleaned up my act in the later games and took it. Landed the j.hk, df.hk. hk FK like 5 times haha.
Semi’s vs. Abel, Rose

Looking for any and all tips for the Rose match up. I noticed that doing b.lk after every boom was getting me killed due to reflect sonic booms, so I started just blocking or using b.hk since it’s faster and covers a little bit of ground.
There’s other matches uploaded, but it’s me vs. 2 not very good players, so they’re not really worth posting.
EDIT: Fighting a zoning Rose is super frustrating. IS THIS HOW IT FEELS TO FIGHT US GUILES?! I HATE IT :’(
EDIT: Oh man, I take back what I said about cleaning up my act. I won, but I made so many dumb moves here and there that add up. A wrong anti-air here and there, an occasional stupid jump, giving up position. All that crap adds up. I don’t really count the handful of random FK’s as mistakes cause it makes him think twice about pressuring me.

seriously tho, you sweep waaaaayyyyyyyyyy to much. And you need to learn how to punish blocked srk’s better than just crouching fierce.
I don’t remember hearing boom sonic. No boom sonic=fail Guile 
If you watch the input display you will notice almost nothing but red icons, haha. Thats because you’re only using crouching Fierce and Roundhouse. There are other straights for a reason guile has a variety of normals that are very useful.
Also, I don’t know whats worse punishing every blocked DP with a low RH, or the fact that when the Akuma blocked a super he punished with one short.

Against Akuma, I find that if you your mind is sharp and switched on you increase your chances of not falling into Akuma’s various traps
Vs Ken

Akuma and Ryu are harder to play against, as I feel that Ken has to be played more offensively compared to Ryu

Most are either using a capture card hooking up the console to their PC and capturing or setting up a camera to record the TV screen.
The wicker man plays guile… in a way.
