During the end of the 1st round, I was screaming “KILL CLOCK MAN! JUST ULTRA OR SOMETHING!!!” but instead, Akuma gets a hit in and wins the round.

I know were suppoused to be spouting how awesome Guile is in all these videos, but can I just say that what the Sagat player did at 15:00 is amazing. He realized mid-match the pattern that Guile had (Boom one tiger shot, jump the other), then figured out ON THE SPOT how to exploit that pattern by FADC’ing the tiger shot that the Guile would jump over and punishing him with Ultra. That’s such a situational thing that I’m pretty sure he didn’t have that tactic coming in.
Guile killed that Sagat, but compared to some of the other Sagats in the videos that Syngin posts, I really think that Sagat just had poor spacing. Most of the damage in that match came from Guile doing a jump in roundhouse to sweep, which the Sagat could have avoided if he zoned better.

This video is from a friend of mine and i know Guile is tournement suited just needs to adjust to the game mechanics but already is good imo. And he is from europe the netherlands (holland)

The belt got unbuckled, but listen here hoo-nee… snap snap i don’t do no shows for free.
But I would like to say that it was a close match, and we both made many mistakes during the course of the match.
@0:21 the sweep took out the Focus Attack Armor?
I had thought the armor covers the first leg of the sweep.
No, Ryu cancelled the FA - no glass shatter effect.
Well he must’ve, but I rewound that video a couple times to look for the hop or change in position. No I didn’t expect to see glass breaking since the sweep has no armor break.
I guess you can almost see his back leg move forward, but it’s hard to catch, it looks like the reeling frame animation.
Also am I the only one who spams jabs really quick when I hear the ‘gong’ sound from someone charging up a FA? This is if I’m don’t have either a down or back charge.
