The Guile Video thread

Try using Bazooka Knee for anti-air. The damage sucks, but when Boxer is that low on life it’s worth it. I’ve beaten Sagat’s j.rh with it too.

good match against gootecks.

im surprised that you went after him toward the end when he had no meter and you had 3. thought you would have for sure tried to chip him away via ex booms or waited for a chance to ex fk him. great match though and such a heart breaker that he took that round.

also. in that case if you guys double KO’d with 1 round each… what happens? do you guys replay the set?

Yeah i was feeling pretty confident once I saw Balrog running to the other side of the screen. Going against what is perceived to be common sense, I threw a jab SB and followed it in, going for the kill. I did the low fierce relatively pretty early, yet I still get the shit end of the damage trade? Gonna go to Moval’s this weekend and test some shit out versus that bullshit.Oh yeah, if its a double KO, you run another set.

? (guile) vs evilLee (sagat)
good first round.

^ above was lacking, random ultra was a horrible loss. Lots of terribly timed jump ins

I’m guessing there’ll be more and I’ll edit this post assuming that happens.

There is more…

so…much…guile

might as well watch the whole damn video. Every match is a guile match culminating in a guile vs. guile mirror :rofl:

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7167226 9:58 vs. Viper
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7167399 0:12 vs. Rufus

Yeah, everytime I feel down after getting in a losing slump I watch some Fuson vids and afterwards I feel like I can take on the world.

stumbled upon this little gem looking at the TRF vids. Not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but it’s some sort of console online Guile exhibition, obviously Japanese. This guy is pretty decent, and he fights quite a few console characters. So anyone looking for strats as a reference point for lesser seen characters this may be a good source.

Here is part 2. Not sure if these are several Guile players, or just one. It appears to be just one, but on certain matches he appears to be a little on the random side. This Guile I like. Some what aggressive, and loves to harass players with d.lp > d.mp xx l.SB strings into a F.RK.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has trouble against Viper and Rufus. Yoshio is still my hero though.

That reversal ultra saved his chops against Vega

Not from the Nicovideo collection, but here is Yoshio featuring again. Did a pretty good job against boxer and kept him out with what I think is some aggressive zoning

now THAT was DOPE

yeah… I watched that video like 20 times… standing fierce was like 70% of his damage lol. So hot

i was expecting a little more technique. this is simple stuff. meh :wasted:

That is how Yochio and japanese guiles play; no fancy stuff, Yoshio is also in SBO too, so it does work.

i swear these guys make it look so easy, but when i try to play that way…
