Kids are easy.
The early months are a bit tiring because they will wake you up up to 3 times per night for milk. And they require more attention in general.
Once they start crawling you’re off the hook, all you have to do is being in their vicinity and you get to have time to do your things.
I’m waiting on that on my second right now. She recently started turning over so she’s about to get there.
I am not exactly a club guy so nightlife was not exactly a problem for me; as for weed, I’d still smoke if I could find in Taiwan. I spent a month and a half with my boy in Italy last summer and I still smoked every day.

I’m very happy with kids. I’ve always wanted them, the only thing that changed is that I am now content with two, while in the past I wanted 3. But that is because my wife counts as a 3rd child.
People that say what you claim are people that had accidents, and are somewhat assholes.
Not really, raising a kid responsibly is a lot. And some people would op out if they had the chance again. Doesn’t mean they don’t love or want their kids currently.

It doesn’t suck to have kids, it’s just a change of lifestyle (or should be) It’s akin to that point in your life when you realize you have to take care of yourself, but instead you realize you have to take care of your kid, and this kid is going to take up every bit of your free time and basically it’s no longer about what you want.
That sounds pretty suck for me people now, but that’s because our generation is very selfish and self gratifying. Having kids is a joy that can’t really be described but has to be experienced.
I think a lot of people have a very romanticized view of what it means to have a kid, and get a massive wake up call when they become parents. That, and a lot of people get kids because they feel that it’s expected of them, not because they necessarily want to. Those are the people who might express regret towards having reproduced, because you really do have to give up a lot of things.
At least that’s my impression of it. I’ll find out more about that in about six months, I guess.

Yeah it’s especially bad in conservative families. It’s why I can’t get married. Because I don’t want to have kids, but my extended family wants me to have kids, here I am with 2 children and no money or time to raise them. And if you’re wondering why I can’t just show them the middle finger and fuck off to do whatever I want, that’s not how it works, and I’m sure you know that. Can’t have a gf because of studies rn, can’t get married because I have to have kids. Die alone.
At least I’ll play 3rd Strike with angels in my grave.
