Worst part is they completely killed the game for me, even if the PC port was to come out, this late, who the fuck can I even play with on PC in fucking Asia? Maybe the same 8-10 guys I always find in KoFXIV?
I love this game and I’m a shill for SNK, but this is just asinine. I was ready to throw all of the money at this game for the longest time, but now I’m not even gonna buy when they do a PC port, I will wait for a discount of 60% or more.

I told her I just want to preorder a digital deluxe copy of Doom, but she said that’s not a gift because I can’t open it.
I kinda just want to save the money, but I know if I don’t say something, she’ll buy some VR headset or something for $200-300 (CAD) that I don’t really want.
Don’t get me wrong, i’m happy she supports my hobbies and wants to buy me something. There’s just nothing I want, other than Doom. Already have Mario Kart and Mario Odyssey on the Switch that I’m not interested in playing right now (too busy labbing various FGs).
Also, I got everything I need on the music front (which is another hobby of mine that I barely partake in these days).
Was thinking that, but I’d prefer digital as I have MVCI as a physical copy and don’t want to keep switching between the two. Plus I don’t really want that helmet and all the stuff. I’m not much of a collector for things like that.

I was thinking of one of those PS4 mouse and keyboard things that work on non-compatible games (like the Hori TAC Pro M2), but if Doom Eternal comes with keyboard and mouse support then it’s a waste of money as a regular keyboard and mouse would be cheaper and better (a real mouse with the proper support would be more accurate). Plus it’s a $200 accessory I’d use for one game (that I’d mostly just play the campaign on), made specifically for a system that doesn’t have too much life left.
Also, Gran in GBVS is too solid for me not to play. He has everything I want.
Zeta is real fun offensively and in neutral, but I didn’t realize her rising DP-like move wasn’t invincible and that she has one of the worst 2H’s in the game. So yeah, she’s not good for me unless they fix her hurtbox on 2H.
Narmaya is good too, but there’s no reason to play her over Gran. She’s my next pick if Gran gets nerfed to oblivion though, and Zeta’s 2H still sucks.

A PC? Some other game? A GOAT Chinese Pad (Coronavirus sold separately)?

A new PC would be good, but I don’t want her/us spending as much as we’d need to to get something decent. Mine is fine for everything I do except playing modern games, and really, I’d only use it for newer FPSs and Killer Instinct. My existing personal laptop or tablet is fine for everything else. Plus I will always have a separate work laptop if I need one in a pinch.
I have my iPad for notes, which I use, but that is a good idea.
Swimming in games too. Really don’t feel like picking anything else up for a while.
