Actually, the old forum would have a new page every 25 or 50 posts and a new thread every 5,000 posts, or something like that.
To be honest, i’m glad it’s split up. There was a time I took a break from here for a few months and some drama happened, and it was easy for people to link/direct me to it. If this was all one massive thread, that would’ve been impossible. Sure, not an everyday occurrence, but I still think it’s a plus.

Pay no mind to Hecatom. I think of him as the jester of this place, every forum needs one. I find him genuinely entertaining, he’s like a little genetic mishap that mother nature forgot to cull.

No it was going away. A few of us scrambled to make a replacement. @PlusFrames and @Volt helped me with mine. We had a dislike button and none of us knew what the fuck we were doing 
Bchan’s forum is still up. The setup is more like classic SRK there.

@darc_requiem manned up and made a replacement as we were finding out where we would all go, and @volt and I pitched in a bit, but nothing as to what Darc did.
Another forum, SRK2 was also born (I think it was renamed by now though) and that’s when a bunch of people splintered off to a New SRK Discord, and some others likely went to Twitter and Reddit.
They changed the forum platform to something much cheaper and manageable, and it’s been fine ever since. I think most people from this lounge came back, but the rest of the forum took a hit for sure.
Edit: @Darc, what was your forum called? SRK Warriors or something? Damn, that feels a lot longer ago than it probably was. I think it’s around 2.5 years ago, but feels like 5.
