The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

I have a LAN adapter for Switch. It’s worth it for the improved downloads speeds alone. I saw a review for this one back in the day. It’s faster than the official adapters and its only $15. I’ve had it for 3 years, no issues.

… I should pick up that Ultra SF2 though. Just for shits and giggles. Wouldn’t replace ST but I’d like to see the graphics and their balance changes. I’d be happy to see a stronger Fei Long. He was my favourite SSF2 character as a kid, but now I ain’t playing low tier… I struggle enough playing the top.

I never snagged that game. It never goes on sale. I’ve seen multiple Capcom sales on the eshop and it never applied to USF2. Physical copies are absurdly high. I saw it for $20 a couple years back, should of picked it up then.

Switch actually has a ton of FGs.

Shame about the wi-fi thing though. And the fools that don’t play on pad don’t really get the advantage of portability.

I like splatoon’s online. If your connection is cosntantly shit then a ban is given but it can be adjusted with the lan adapter.

Nintendo was always the GOAT and I’m a fool for questioning it for even a second.

Imagine that shit on SFV though? It’d look like a LTG stream, people banned every 5 seconds.

That probably would have pushed the netcode patch earlier in the game’s lifespan due to being banned for having a crap connection knowing how cfn is.

If I was a travelling player or anything like that, I’d use it a lot more for FGs, but I like my PS4 Hitbox too much to bother and my Switch has only left the docking station once when we were out of power.

Truthfully, I may be in the minority, but I only use it for exclusives (Zelda and Mario games) and maybe that SF2 title if it ever goes on sale… oh, and been meaning to grab the Turok games too

You’re definitely in the majority, especially because of the quality of said exclusives.

One of the first things I plan to do when I get a Switch is to just go to the living room and play it while laying on the couch. Just because I can.

One of the biggest things I miss after switching to a desktop is that I need to be in whenever room it is or I’m not using it, so now I spend even more time in my room than I used to.

I hear that. I hate my computer room and while I have many issues with my laptop, going into that room to play isn’t too appealing. It is a laptop but I’m a bit of a neat-freak and it pretty much always needs to be plugged in - I don’t just have the cable dangling or anything like that, so moving it is a bit of a PITA.

I do find the Switch joycons to be a bit annoying too. Thankfully the pro controllers are wireless, but then you have to prop up the display somewhere, so I just keep it docked and play on my big screen.

… If you couldn’t tell before, I’m a picky idiot

That’s odd it shows it like that for you, this is my notification drop-down

Sometimes it all gathers at once, especially if you got other notifications. It happens a lot when either you or Big T go on like sprees.

Happens on mobile for me too, so it ain’t that.

Discourse doing Discourse things, I guess. :man_shrugging:

Any of you guys playing anything?

I’m playing God of War right now.
I had an urge to play it again since I left it when I was only two trophies away from Platinum, something I just managed to fix. I guess the Assassin’s Creed put me in a viking mood.

It plays a lot better than I remembered, casual-friendly AAA games have no right to be that fun to play.

Wanna jump in for some competitive God of War?

Interestingly enough, there was actually a pretty big competitive combo video scene for Devil May Cry 3. So what you said isn’t as far out of the question as you might imagine.

I’m playing dmc5 as we speak, not quite sure how I think it stacks up against the others. But I’m only on mission 9 or so.

League of Legends, yes I’m addicted.

Haven’t beat it, it’s just too heavy on my PC, but judging from what I played, it’s great. Probably the best in terms of gameplay.

Still hate playing as Dante tho.

If you like Mega Man Legends
