Eh, she looks humanly very buff, not quite Mr. X tier. You could argue it’s unrealistic in the setting but to me it’s the kind of stuff that can maybe break realism but doesn’t necessarily breaks plausibility. Very buff dudes and dudettes can exist even in post-apocalyptic settings that steer more toward realism somewhat.
As for the rest…
Welp.
You play as the bad guy for half of the game, hunting down the protagonist, that I think might die at the end.
I’m actually intrigued now, if this is all true this could be really interesting if they write it well and not in a desperate “I want to subvert your expectations at all costs”, but this stuff is guaranteed to be very controversial at best. Lots of people will be mad, even if the writing turns out to be stellar and the story to be good.
This really looks like The Last Jedi shit. I liked that movie, even if it had obvious issues, but I realize how these sorts of idea are very bold and dangerous.
If nothing else you can’t say the TLOU2 developers are pussies like the people at Ubisoft, that’s for sure.
The plot is freaking bonkers. The structure just doesn’t hold up. How are they going to make the “villain” playable after she killed one of the protags of the first game and try to make her sympathetic?
I just can’t see it happening.
And this is a game that’s one of those long, interactive movies disguised as games. If the plot doesn’t hold up, the franchise is going to get nuked.
We know the story only through leaks, and there’s reason to believe that whoever published these leaks had an axe to grind against Naughty Dogs, so anything you’re seeing might have been showed in such a way to make it look as bad as possible.
It could be as bad as it looks. In fact a risky narrative like this has a million ways in which it could be executed horribly wrong. I just think it would be fairer to wait for the complete thing to come out and judge it on the full, finished version.
I’ll gladly join the jackals and rip it a new one too if it actually ends up sucking.
Apparently the story of Amy was that she was forced out of ND. Not sure how true it is, but considering everything else, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true.
I have an odd issue in 3S, and I don’t know if there’s a reason for it…
With Ken, if I walk in and do his MP~HP xx LP DP combo, his combo will come out nearly every time I try.
Yet, if I dash in and perform the exact same combo (trying as much as I can to keep the input consistent), 9 times out of 10, Ken throws an LP Hadoken instead.
Is there a reason for this? Some sort of negative edge on the dash or something? I don’t know why the DPs are struggling to come out, and if I try to hold DF when tapping LP, usually nothing comes out.
Now, every once in a while a DP happens, but I can’t figure out why. Yet, again, it comes out consistently if I don’t dash.
Edit: figured out why… the last forward input of the dash cannot be used as the first forward input of the DP. You have to press forward again.
Legit my ass.
That level of swole is only possible with stereoids for women.
And i know is fiction and all of that, but a mid trained man will always outperform women.
Is one of the advantages of having natural steroids (testosterone) running through your body.
For much the regressive left want to deny facts, man have a natural advantage when it comes to physical activities.
Just look at all the records of olympics and other sport events.
Or how a teenage soccer team trunced a professional women team
That feels kind of arbitrary. Like you could say that about any trans character and by their mere existence it can be twisted into “pandering” or “political.”
